Should terraria have a lore?

I "literally" told you that different players have different taste. If you're okay with multi-lore, then more power to you.

I personally don't think there should be lore. Maybe little pieces of lore like Razleth said, but i like to make my own story when playing as it's more appealing to me.

I don't think games like Terraria can really have a cohesive lore. I personally feel that a long overarching story would drastically slow down the fast paced game play of Terraria, and as Razor Knight said a game merging so much lore would easily get jumbled up and confusing, just look at Planescape or something similar.
