I'm planning on making a mod that adds cactus juice. It functions similarly to water, but it also gives you the desert heat screen effect in all biomes, simply intensifying in the desert. (And maybe it would have a very minor effect on your movement conrols.) Tooltip: "Drink cactus juice, it'll quench ya'! It's the quenchiest!"
