Working as Designed Slice of Cake doesn't apply speed increase when speed boots are equipped.

Measured using stopwatch, Slice of Cake's Sugar Rush buff doesn't increase player speed when speed boots are equipped. Should be returning ~40 MPH when terraspark/frostpark boots are equipped, but doesn't apply any increase. Doesn't appear to be an issue with the stopwatch, as there is no visible speed difference when the buff is active. Buff does work when no speed boots are equipped.
Thought this might be a feature at first, but couldn't find anything in-game or on the wiki.

As I understand it, "Dashing speed" is a distinct state which takes the player to a higher-than-normal movement speed.

It doesn't typically stack with most increased movement speed modifiers, as its already well above the "max speed" normally achievable by walking. This makes dashing a non-ideal method for measuring the speed increase from various sources.

You can observe the speed increase in other ways, such as during jump movement.
