This is not new to 1.4, I already expierienced it in 1.3.
Setup: Laptop connected to television on hdmi.
When I leave terraria open and close my laptop, then open my laptop again and go back to terraria, there is no sound anymore.
The game needs to be restarted before it has sound again.
