As I was browsing the Plantera wiki page, I thought: Hardmode is lacking in throwables, so why not these?

Thorn Ball
38 ranged damage
Extremely weak knockback
Fast speed
Stacks to 999

They have a chance to inflict Poisoned and vanish after 8 hits or 30 seconds, after which they'll explode, launching their thorns outward for 10 blocks. Thorn Balls have an independent 33% chance to drop from Plantera in groups of 30-50. After Plantera's defeat, they can be bought from the Witch Doctor for 15 silver each.

Good idea, just a small question: does the weapon drop and roll on the ground like the one in Plantera's bossfights, or does it go by direction like shurikens?

I would assume they behave the same as Spikey balls, seeing as both have low knockback, and disappear after #hits or time on ground.

Initially I was like “But isn’t Plantera a plant?” Sneaky Snicker....

Anyways, support. A new consumable weapon would definitely be nice, and I don’t think anybody’s used Plantera as a source before. Good job!

Terraria is fantasy, man. If you want a plant to have testes, it can have testes. The nettle burst is one of its other parts.
