Resolved [Switch] Tree farm

I am in the late game and need tons of wood for a new base. I was wondering if there is a faster tree farm than just letting them grow naturally.

To my knowledge, there is no way to speed up the growth of trees. A way you could get more wood could be purifying the ground underneath natural Crimson/Corrupt trees, turning them into normal trees.

Well, you could generate a new world. Then stripmine it for the resources you need, and discard it afterwards. Repeat as necessary.
