Terrarian
TerrarAI makes it easy to quickly find answers to your questions by using AI to read the wiki and summarize the answer fast and simply. What seperates this from other alternatives is:
1. Set-Up:
To use the AI in Terraria, you need to interface with the Groq API. Don't worry - It's free!
And that's the setup done! Now all you need to do is try it out!
2. Usage
Now you're all setup, lets try out the mod. The AI works best when you ask specific questions instead of just phrases, like "/ai How do i spawn the moon lord" is better than "/ai moon lord spawn", although your mileage will vary
Commands:
Terraria: /ai <query>
Calamity: /calamity <query>
Thorium: /thorium <query>
Note: Sometimes you'll get a rate limit, this just means either you should break down your request into smaller chunks of questions or you should slow down. This is just a side effect of it being free. I am looking into ways around this but it may take time.
- You don't need to repeatedly alt-tab to your browser to read the wiki, just /ai <your query> in chat
- Better than just using vanilla ChatGPT, because it uses the wiki to make sure its not making stuff up
- Works with the Thorium, Calamity and vanilla Terraria wikis.
- You don't need to pay for the AI, its free*
- The AI in use is extremely fast (Groq makes AI-specialised GPUs)

- Visit Groq's website and make a free account
- Make an API key, you can do that here

- Make sure to keep your API key secret.
