Mobile Terraria Mobile 1.3 Release Date Revealed!

Aw yeah! Can’t wait for it to arrive! Guess I should spend all my time with the exclusive stuff before it disappears into the dark void forever.
 
I do have a small question though. On your old worlds, will the underworld background stay the same or update to the new one?

That's right, in a few short weeks, you will have all of that Terraria 1.3 goodness - along with a complete overhaul and re-design of the Mobile Terraria experience - in your hands! We know you are as excited as we are! This has been a long time coming, but we are confident and thrilled with how things turned out, and we think everyone will agree that it was well worth the wait.

We will have a full set of release notes, plans, and information for everyone to digest on launch day, but for now, here are a few bits of info to keep in mind:


What platforms will receive Terraria 1.3 on launch day?
  • Android (Google Play) and iOS devices that meet the minimum specifications (see below) will receive the update on launch day.
  • Amazon devices will follow at a later date (not too long, we hope!)

  • If you meant money, then Terraria 1.3 is free to all current owners of Mobile Terraria.

Holy crap it took that long, that's when I started playing Terraria
 
I appreciate the new change in control that they have made. I have trouble fighting Duke Fishron when I keep falling through platforms. Or when I am going forward and the sideward turns into down and you fall through platforms.

Wait your on here I haven't seen a single post about you ever but anyway your great at Terraria. On expert mode I only got to beating the wall of flesh.
 
After 3 long years of waiting, and countless more of hoping Mobile would be redone into a half-decent state, I may finally die happy.

Well, yes. What I'm angling for and should have been explicit about is 'Since 3DS will never get a 1.3 upgrade, can I convert to an Android license?'

Theres no license system, and the update is free if you own an iOS or Android copy. (its like five bucks anyways so whats the issue)
