At long last - and after many, many times asked for - we can finally reveal the launch date for the upcoming Terraria 1.3 Mobile Update!
In case you didn't figure it out from our Mobile Enigma video from earlier this week, the big day is....
View attachment 225340
Very special shoutouts to Apollyon (∆ㄕ◊レレㄚ◊и#9350), who worked as a team with Pikachu (Pikachu#3232), シRickjoseeツ (シRickjoseeツ#4924), and |ყσµɳɠ ℓεɠσℓαร|(|ყσµɳɠ ℓεɠσℓαร|#0586) from Discord, and @The Real Bryan and Mine® working together from TCF for solving the mystery the soonest that we could find on each platform!
(If you got a correct guess in sooner, sorry we missed it!)
That's right, in a few short weeks, you will have all of that Terraria 1.3 goodness - along with a complete overhaul and re-design of the Mobile Terraria experience - in your hands! We know you are as excited as we are! This has been a long time coming, but we are confident and thrilled with how things turned out, and we think everyone will agree that it was well worth the wait.
We will have a full set of release notes, plans, and information for everyone to digest on launch day, but for now, here are a few bits of info to keep in mind:

Holy crap it took that long, that's when I started playing TerrariaAfter 4 years, our waiting is finally ended. (3/8/2015 - 27/8/2019)
Yah it's better on computerI appreciate the new change in control that they have made. I have trouble fighting Duke Fishron when I keep falling through platforms. Or when I am going forward and the sideward turns into down and you fall through platforms.
I have a unrelated question. Why did y'all team up with the makers of Dungeon Defenders

Wait your on here I haven't seen a single post about you ever but anyway your great at Terraria. On expert mode I only got to beating the wall of flesh. It's time!!
Nice!I have been featured in NRLP’s new video!
No. 3DS version will not be receiving any more updates, and is considered separate. 3DS cannot even dream of running 1.3, sadly.I happen to own Terraria 3DS. Does that count as 'all current owners of Mobile Terraria'?

Theres no license system, and the update is free if you own an iOS or Android copy. (its like five bucks anyways so whats the issue)I happen to own Terraria 3DS. Does that count as 'all current owners of Mobile Terraria'?
Well, yes. What I'm angling for and should have been explicit about is 'Since 3DS will never get a 1.3 upgrade, can I convert to an Android license?'
You’ll need to create a new world if you want the new underground mini biomes like granite and marble.I do have a small question though. On your old worlds, will the underworld background stay the same or update to the new one?
