You might be able to find another way to play Terraria on a mac in the meantime.

I'm not a huge expert on the topic, but there are programs for Macs which let you simulate a Windows operating system, from which you can then run Terraria. Or something like that.

Yeah, I play on Mac, and used Wineskin. Works well, but no minimap. Xo
I'm gonna keep waiting for the 'real' release of Terraria for Mac.
