NPCs & Enemies The Legend Trinity

Okay, I think enough time has passed since Milt69466 posted his "Three Champions" idea that nobody will think I ripped him off...

OKAY. So... suggestion time! HERE WE GO.

~STORY~ (... huh. The forum's default text is actually kind of very pale tan and not pure white. Anyone else notice that?)
Three bold adventurers from days of yore.
Challenged all there was, 'till there was no more.
But one final threat loomed, a danger to all.
And in battle did three mighty warriors fall.
But not without cause. They vanquished the beast.
Sealed with three statues, a hero's soul, each.
They stand now in wait, for heroes anew.
Your strength they will test, for a hero's heart, true.
For the beast must be vanquished by a true hero's might.
To ensure it is you, these three heroes you'll fight.

~CONCEPT~
So as the poem says, these are 3 "player" characters just like you who sacrificed themselves to seal away a great evil. I don't know or even care who the great evil is (meaning I've left it open to interpretation), but basically before you can fight that boss, you must fight these three, as they want to test you and make sure you're capable of defeating it. You need items that drop from all 3 to forge an item that summons this "final boss" of sorts.

They are located in a special temple called "The Heroes' Tomb". The special walls have a feature where players cannot place blocks anywhere the walls exist, to ensure that nobody can modify the tomb's battle room where the heroes are fought.

In the center of the one large room in the tomb there are 3 statues (each 3 blocks wide and 5 blocks tall). Each one looks like the respective boss outlined below, and each one has a hole wherein the appropriate summoning gems fit.

~THE CHAOMANCER~
The Chaomancer is the "mage" of the Legend Trinity. He perhaps looks like he's wearing a dark-indigo (blue-purple) version of the Spectre Armor, although I may come up with a more unique design later. I don't have a solid idea just yet.

Summoning Method: The Caster's Soul is a Purple Gem that can be obtained as a random drop by enemies in the Dungeon during HardMode and only after Plantera has been defeated. Place the Caster's Soul in the corresponding Caster's Statue, and The Chaomancer will be summoned immediately. The text "(player name) has challenged The Chaomancer!" will appear, and the battle will begin after a short delay.
Movement: The Chaomancer moves around by teleporting. When he does, he usually blinks around the room anywhere between 2 to 5 times in a row before stopping to launch some attack spells. He will teleport during his Demon Scythe attack, however.
Attacks: The Chaomancer has the most varied attacks of the 3, using either Demon Scythe, or two new spells: Chaos Rain and Chaos Burst. When casting Demon Scythe, he will teleport around the arena to cast several Scythes from different angles.
Tips: Attacking The Chaomancer has a chance to make him cancel his attacks and teleport around evasively for a bit. He does some of the most punishing damage of the 3 but also has the least HP, making him probably the first target you wanna take down. Be wary of his attacks, as they can inflict the CHAOS CURSE (even the Demon Scythes!).

~Chaomancer Drops~
The Chaomancer will drop "Chaos Shards", upon defeat, as well as one of the following: "Chaos Rain" (spell), "Chaos Burst" (spell), or "Chaos Sandals" (accessory).
Chaos Shards are used to craft Chaos Gear when combined with Spectre Armor. Chaos Gear offers a balance between the Specter's Hood and Mask bonuses with it's headgear, the Chaos Crown. Healing souls are obtained when attacking enemies with magic, and magic cost is reduced by 25% while attack is unchanged. With the full set, you also become immune to both Chaos State and Chaos Curse.
Chaos Rain is an indigo-colored upgrade to the "Flower of Fire" line of spells, having slightly higher attack and less cost than Flower of Frost, while maintaining the velocity of Cursed Flames. It also causes a new "Chaos Curse" debuff (Details below). It can also be auto-fired at a decent rate by holding down the attack button.
Chaos Burst acts functionally similar to the Inferno Fork, however it can pass through walls and will only detonate on contact with an enemy or when the projectile reaches the point the cursor clicked on to fire it. When it detonates, it creates a strong gravity vortex that pulls nearby enemies toward it and deals ongoing damage for a period of time. The pulling effect works in PvP. Like Chaos Rain, it inflicts the Chaos Curse debuff.
The Chaos Sandals are an accessory that allows you to teleport to the cursor by pressing DOWN. If you aren't wearing the Chaos Armor you will become afflicted with Chaos Curse as well as Chaos State.

~About the Chaos Curse~
Chaos Curse is a temporary debuff that causes the target to move and act at half the usual speed. Unlike "Slow", Chaos Curse affects vertical motion as well and is not mitigated by the Fast Clock (or any of the accessories that use it), since it effectively slows time around the target. Chaos Curse also disables movement-based accessories such as the wings and Master Ninja Gear.

~THE HUNTER~
The Hunter is the "ranger" of the Legend Trinity. Until I come up with a unique look for him, just imagine he looks like he's wearing dark green version of the Shroomite Mail (gunner helm).

Summoning Method: The Ranger's Soul is a Green Gem that can be obtained as a random drop by enemies in any Desert biome during HardMode and only after Plantera has been defeated. Place the Ranger's Soul in the corresponding Ranger's Statue, and The Hunter will be summoned immediately. The text "(player name) has challenged The Hunter!" will appear, and the battle will begin after a short delay.
Movement: The Hunter moves about the room like any normal player does, walking and jumping and using a grappling hook to cling to walls and/or the ceiling. However, he does so all while being completely invisible (even his grappling hook is invisible).
Attacks: The Hunter has two attacks. First he will wind up his deadly machinegun and open up a volley of fire that will slowly follow an evading target. There is an audible wind-up noise before this attack occurs, giving players a clue. The second attack performed causes a visible crosshairs to appear on the screen. The crosshairs slowly moves around the room and attempts to snag one of the players. Upon doing so the player is hit by an unavoidable and very powerful shot.
Tips: Like the Chaomancer, attacking The Hunter can occasionally cause him to cease his attack. On top of this, landing a successful hit brings The Hunter out of stealth temporarily, making it easier to combo him. Note that he will sometimes attack while clinging to walls and/or the cieling so look for him absolutely everywhere.

~Hunter Drops~
The Hunter will always drop "Refraction Plates", and one of 3 specialty items: either the "Silent Hook", the "Hunter's Rifle", or "Devastation".
Refraction Plates can be combined with Shroomite armor to create "Special Ops Gear". Special Ops Gear is a direct upgrade to Shroomite, having slightly higher defense and all the same benefits (and 3 different helms of course), however it's bonus works just like The Hunter, keeping you invisible until you take a hit, rather than requiring you to be still.
Devastation is a direct upgrade to the Minishark line of guns, however despite dealing more damage and even greater rapid fire, there is a wind-up period, just like when The Hunter uses it.
The Hunter's Rifle is a direct upgrade to the Sniper Rifle, but on top of allowing you to zoom, holding the attack button turns your cursor into a crosshairs. The gun only fires when you line a target up in the crosshairs, guaranteeing a hit (obstacles notwithstanding).
The Silent Hook is an upgrade of the Dual Hook, able to fire up to THREE hooks simultaneously. The hook would ideally be invisible to everyone except the player using it, and make no sound/produce no particles when latching to a surface.

~THE SENTINEL~
The Sentinel is the "warrior" of the Legend Trinity. He's wearing a golden colored armor but it isn't a recolor of Tortoise. I want to say it looks more... dragon-like.

Summoning Method: The Warrior's Soul is a Yellow Gem that can be obtained as a random drop by enemies in the Underworld during HardMode and only after Plantera has been defeated. Place the Warrior's Soul in the corresponding Warrior's Statue, and The Sentinel will be summoned immediately. The text "(player name) has challenged The Sentinel!" will appear, and the battle will begin after a short delay.
Movement: The Sentinel actively chases the player, equipped with the Hero's Cape to pursue his chosen target wherever they decide to go.
Attacks: The Sentinel has two attacks. He is the only of the 3 who can damage you with direct contact, and relentlessly chases his chosen player-target for this purpose. He also occasionally throws out his True Hero's Sword (details below in Drops section).
Tips: Being the only one of the 2 who is always visible, The Sentinel can be spotted and aimed at at all times. However, he wears a beefed up Turtle Armor which returns not only melee damage, but ranged damage as well. Spells are the only "safe" way to take down The Sentinel.

~Sentinel Drops~
The Sentinel will drop "Dragon Scales" on defeat, and has a chance to drop either the "Hero's Cape", or the "Hero's Sword Mould".
Dragon Scales can be crafted with Turtle Armor to create Dragonscale Armor, which is a direct upgrade. Slightly higher defense and all the same benefits, however the revenge bonus now also applies to Ranged attacks (bullets/arrows/bombs/etc) as well as Melee.
The Hero's Cape is a wing accessory. Instead of flapping wings, it resembles a superhero's cape and flaps about in the wind accordingly (even when standing still, because heroes are always accompanied by their own personal wind, you know...). It would ideally function like the Shroomite Hoverboard, but have a greater duration and degree of control.
The Hero Sword Mould can be combined with Dragon Scales and a Broken Hero's Sword to recreate The Sentinel's mighty sword, "True Hero's Sword". The True Hero's Sword throws a spinning sword with a range slightly shorter than the Paladin's Hammer, but it will linger at it's maximum range as long as you hold the button down, and continuously damage enemies that come in contact with it. Release the attack key to command the sword to return to you.

~MULTI-HERO SUMMON~
When the Hero's "souls" are placed in the statues, there is a 5-second delay before the battle begins. This is to grant you enough time to place the other orbs if you wish to challenge more than one (or all 3). Once the battle starts, the text "The challenge has begun!" will display.

~FINAL BOSS SUMMON~
Once again, I'm leaving the final boss (or great evil if you want) up to interpretation, but as the 3 heroes are keeping it sealed in a portal, you basically need to craft a summon item from the various things they drop. You need Chaos Shards from The Chaomancer, Refraction Plates from The Hunter, and Dragon Scales from The Sentinel.

This would be alright actually.
As long as this isn't endgame.
IF this is added soonish it will be the current new endgame, yes. What with allowing you to directly upgrade the current most powerful armors in the game into MORE powerful armors.

That's not to say that even better stuff couldn't come AFTER it, though...
