Hello all! PhoenixBlade here, and I'd like to present to you the Spirit Mod! The Spirit Mod is my take on adding new items, new enemies, and overall a new experience to playing Terraria! To compensate, more Glyphs drop per boss. - Fixed some projectiles dealing inconsistent types of damage as opposed to what damage they actually had to deal - Lowered the drop chance of many blue moon things Additions: - New dungeon enemies! Look out for some mean Dungeon Cubes sliding toward you, with different sprites based on what Dungeon you're in. - A new Blue Moon enemy, The Omniscient, has appeared! Look out for this all-seeing being, and his drop! - The Jabberwocky is now a true miniboss, with a loot table and more Preface: Ever since the mod's release, we've recieved many complaints about the power(or lack thereof) of items and bosses. Many have constantly stressed that items feel lackluster, and the bosses are not memorable. These are serious concerns, and we've tried our hardest to fix these things before. However, it wasn't until now that we sat down and rebalanced everything from the ground up. So, welcome to the mythical rebalancing update! This update aims to make your next (or current) Spirit playthrough smooth, with more powerful items and more interesting bosses! So, let's get started: 1.3.1: Overview https://www.mediafire.com/file/93bb1o7cj4dfvby/SpiritMod.tmod Additions: - A new event, the Blue Moon! This hardmode event can occur any night, or can be summoned with an Turquouise Lens at nighttime. Can you ward off the mythical beings, from Wererabbits to Jabberwockies? - The Grove- a small microstructure(not a biome) that spawns underground. It seems to be an ancient, overgrown graveyard, but be careful, lest you disturb one of the graves... - The Enchanter- a new NPC that spawns when you have a Blank Glyph in your inventory! The enchanter exchanges Blank Glyphs(obtained from bosses, and rarely from enemies) for Glyphs, items that enchant your weapons to give them special effects! - Glyphs: Sold by the Enchanter for Blank Glyphs throughout progression, Glyphs can be used via right-click on the item you currently hold to give them bonus effects! To get rid of Glyphs, simply reforge your item. - New Reach Generation- There will only be one Reach that generates on new world, but it will be slightly larger. It also has custom trees, a new background, and more! - Reach Furniture - New Music for the following bosses: Infernon, Ethereal Umbra, Starplate Raider - About 70 new items, a new miniboss, and more! Changes: - Most sets have been buffed, with some armors gaining new set bonuses, and some weapons getting new abilities! - New Set Bonuses: Geode Armor, Lihzahrd Armor, Vinecaller Armor, and others! - Most bosses have been changed! Here is a little about each boss: - Scarabeus: No longer breaks platforms! Instead, he shoots little homing gilded energy which forces you to move around - Vinewrath: Nerfed his projectile spam a little - Ancient Flier: Now moves faster, and shoots a special projectile in Expert Mode! To prevent minion spam, a cap has been placed on his Bone Harpy minions - Starplate Raider: Nerfed the spamminess of stars, increased protection against piercing weapons - Infernon: Nerfed his projectile spam. In Expert Mode, a second form has been introduced! Can you defeat the true master of hell? - Dusking: Now faster, more powerful, and with extra projectiles. Watch out! - Ethereal Umbra: Greatly buffed its health, and the Ethereal Mirage is now a threat in Expert Mode - Illuminant Master: Nerfed his teleportation range and his projectile spam - Atlas: Buffed his speed and his projectiles. Atlas is now actually a threat! Best of luck! - Overseer: Not many changes here. Slight nerfs in damage. - Added special water shaders for the Spirit Biome and Reach, as well as a new shader for the Spirit Biome - Resprites for a few items and tiles, including Spirit Ore, Cryolite Ore, Boss Icons on screen, as well as some misc. yoyos - Artifact Accessories now empower their respective weapons with special bonuses! - A mod icon for the Mod Browser - SO MANY DONATOR ITEMS: I tried to get to all the donator items from the past few months in here. However, I probably missed some- so if you don't see yours/ are unsure, *please* message me and let me know Changes to the Donator Item policy: - Increasing the price of donator items from 3 to 6 dollars - No longer can people request upgradeable/lines of items (This is to slow down the large amount of donator items, and give each donator item the special attention it deserves) The Backstory- Spirit Origins... The Backstory Long ago, in the days of old, there were only humans and animals. The Spirit of the world watched over them, guiding the creatures in the ways of peace and harmony. The people and animals lived side by side, helping each other in times of need. Yet everything could not stay perfect for long. The sky grew dark. A seal had been broken. Monsters from the cosmos were attacking. The Spirit of Terraria hefted his mighty blade and charged into battle, but it was not enough. The spirit was nearly destroyed, but he vanished, broken and confused, on the brink of the world's destruction. Thinking that they had won, the Celestial creatures retreated. The humans, however, with no guidance anymore, broke apart. The people grew harsher and more hostile, evolving and changing into beasts akin to those that nearly slaughtered their spirit. Some were plagued with disease and pestilence. This drove them insane and mutated them into horrendous beings with a multitude of eyes and jaws. These creatures remembered not where they came from, but their foul aura emanated to the land on which they stood, creating The Corruption. Others, with no teachings of peace or harmony, descended into carnage and bloodshed. The ground on which they battled was forever tainted with their blood and needless violence, spawning forth horrifying spiders and men with no faces. This was the dreaded Crimson. Some wandered aimlessly, with no hope or destination. These humans slowly devolved, losing their arms and legs and most other body parts. These slimes were always passive, but quick to attack if harmed. A band of humans wandered into a natural labyrinth they had excavated. The horrors and traps that had manifested there led many astray, and they were trapped in the walls of the Dungeon forevermore, becoming shells of their former selves. Another band of humans turned to thievery and murder, becoming quicker, stealthier, and more beastly. These goblins retreated to unknown locations, sending scouts to oversee the areas. Some looked to the sky for answers, trying desperately to reach the floating islands they always saw in the skies. The air around the humans changed them, granting them wings and feral instincts. One group of humans succeeded in protecting themselves from the lunar invaders, tunneling deep into the jungle and building a fortress to house themselves in. After generations of being holed up in their fort, the humans tried to contact the Spirit of Terraria by building an altar to it. Forgetting what it looked like, the humans worshiped the mad contraption the altar created. The fortress soon became a temple. And these poor souls, after millenia of contact with Jungle creatures, morphed into reptilian creatures that lost all human instincts. They still, however, remembered to guard their beacon. A lone man, a trapper, did his best to contain and preserve these lost souls. He tamed the wildest beasts of the jungle, including a ferocious flowery beast, succeeded in purifying an entire area of land known as the Hallow, and snuffed the essences of the Dungeon's strongest enemies. He journeyed downwards, reaching the center of the world. The demons here were easy to defeat, but they taunted and tricked him, slowly pulling apart his sanity. Eventually, the man broke down, sobbing, and the souls of the underworld converged upon him, mutilating his very being. The man, now disfigured to the point of no recognition, wandered the underworld, still remembering to keep the souls of dark and light at bay. Another man, hearing of the tales of the dungeon, ventured to its entrance. He saw a broken tablet there. Peering into the tablet, he saw the very spirit of something, ghastly, and it ate at his mind, nesting like some diseased thing. Slowly, his mind and skull became its own creature, and the old man tried its best to contain the skeleton within, wandering the dungeon's entrance in agony. A group of insane humans supported the celestial creatures who laid waste to the land. They worshiped these creatures, operating in the utmost secrecy. Now, the world grows restless. You, a young adventurer, may be the key to releasing the spirit of Terraria, and restoring the world to its former Harmony. The Spirit senses your presence, but in his confused state, sends enemies to attack you, with an ulterior goal of making you stronger. New bosses, enemies, and biomes, with dark, murky pasts, are appearing. The many factions of the world have seen you as well, and are thirsting for blood, sensing that a final battle is approaching... You must fight, young Terrarian! Summons The Tide if used near an ocean... Black Tide- Shoots out a spread of kelp clumps that linger when touching the ground, inflicting Brine (a slowing debuff) and dealing constant damage! Drops from Tide Caller or Murky Terrors rarely Dread Water- Converts arrows into Dread arrows, which inflict Brine! Drops from Murky Terrors rarely. Miniflayer Staff- Summons a mini Mind Flayer to zap foes with brine-coated energy! Drops from Mind Flayers rarely. Baby Clamper- An accessory that increases defense by 2. Getting hurt by enemies spawns a clamping projectile around you, which reduces your damage taken! Dropped by Clampers rarely. Ocean's Gale Javelin- Left-click the Javelin to use it like a powerful, melee spear. Upon right click, you can constantly throw a javelin at foes! Dropped by Greenfin Trappers rarely. Tidal Gear Black Pearl Shard- Drops from Tide enemies. All Tidal Weapons inflict Tidal Ebb, lowering enemy damage and dealing damage over time. Tidal Blaster- Crafted with Black Pearl Shards and Coral at an anvil. Turns bullets into tidal energy. Shell Blade- Crafted with Black Pearl Shards and Coral at an anvil. Occasionally shoots out a bolt of tidal energy. Stardrop Staff- Crafted with Black Pearl Shards and Coral at an anvil. Shoots out a sphere of water that occasionally splits into a star of water. Tidal Grenade- Crafted with Black Pearl Shards and Coral at an anvil. A powerful grenade that explodes into multiple bolts of tidal energy. (If some items are displayed twice on the banner, I apologize) Animation Stone- Increases movement speed, but decreases jump height. Crafted with Stone Blocks and Demonite Bars at an anvil! Magnifying Glass- Increases critical strike chance by 5%. Drops from Demon eyes occasionally. Plaguebearer Microbe- Increases defense at the cost of 10 life. Drops from Eaters of Souls/Crimeras rarely. Forsworn Pendant- Increases ranged crit chance by 2% and melee speed by 3%. Found in Reach Chests, or craftable with Enchanted Leaves and Ancient Bark at an anvil. Cleft Horn- Increases melee damage and knockback. Crafted with Hardened Carapces at an anvil. Briarhunt Charm- Increases all critical strike chances by varying percentages, increases max life, as well as melee damage and speed. A combination of Cleft Horn, Floran Hunting Charm, and Forsworn Pendant at a Tinkerer's Workshop. Wood Yoyos- Multiple types of earlygame yoyos crafted with different types of wood at an anvil. The Fireball- A yoyo that shoots out three bouncing fireballs! Drops from Fiery Imps rarely. Sweet Throw- A yoyo that occasionally shoots out friendly bees. Drops from Queen Bees occasionally. Bone Charm- Increases maximum mana by 40 when under half health. Crafted with Bones and Mana Crystals at an anvil. Constellation Kunai- Shoots out multiple Kunai that ignore gravity. Crafted with Kunai and Starplate Fragments at an anvil. Orion's Pistol- Converts bullets into Orion Bullets, which leave behind lingering energy to damage foes. Crafted with a Flintlock Pistol and Starplate Fragments at an anvil. Bloody Zombie Arm- A stronger variant of the Zombie Arm. Drops from Blood Zombies rarely. Harpy Blade- Shoots a Harpy Feather from the sky at the cursor position. Drops from Harpies rarely. Starblade- Shoots out a giant star every seventh swing that explodes into multiple homing wisps. Crafted with a Skyblade(sold from Adventurer), Harpy Blade, Talon Blade, and Starplate Fragments at an anvil. The Earthblade- Melee strikes ensnare enemies in vines, reducing their movement speed. Melee critical hits grant you 'Earthwrought,' increasing life regeneration. Occasionally shoots out multiple leaves. Crafted with a Bismite Sword, a Sanctified Stabber, Floran Bars, and a Fossil Feather at an anvil. Overgrowth Staff- Summons a Leaf Spirit to shoot leaves at foes! Crafted with Wood and Acorns at an anvil. Thornwild Staff- Summons a Briar Spirit to charge at foes! Found in Reach Chests, or craftable with Enchanted Leaves and Ancient Bark at an anvil. Eater Staff- Summons a mini Eater of Souls to latch onto foes! Drops from Eaters of Souls rarely. Creeper Staff- Summons a mini Creeper to latch onto foes! Drops from Face Monsters rarely. Ball of Flesh- Drops from the Wall of Flesh rarely. Shoots out a bouncing, fleshy chakram! Thrower Emblem- Drops from the Wall of Flesh occasionally. Increases throwing damage by 15% Famine Scepter- Drops from the Wall of Flesh rarely. Summons a Hungry that is latched to your body. The Chaos Ball- Shoots out a fast moving chaos ball. Drops from Goblin Sorcerers occasionally. Imp Fireball- Shoots out a burning fireball. Drops from Fiery Imps occasionally. The Blazing Wheel- Shoots out a bouncing blazing wheel. Drops from Angry Bones rarely. Magic Conch- Summons a whirplool at the cursor position. Drops from Snappers rarely. Briarheart Boomerang- Shoots out two boomerangs at once. Right-click to summon two, more damaging crystal storms Tier 3: Left Click attacks may cause enemies to burst into multiple tiny Ancient Shards. Right-click to summon three damaging crystal storms around the player. Tier 4: Afterimages may rain multiple Primeval Bolts from the sky. Summon: Bough of Corruption- Summon attacks have a chance to release multiple Nightmare Bolts at nearby enemies. Summon attacks may restore a small amount of the player's life. Shadowspirit Shako- Increases ranged damage, throwing damage, crit chance, speed, and reduces ammo consumption! Arrows and Throwing Weapons have a chance to turn into Core Shards. Set Bonus- Become the Shadow. Using Shadow gear allows you to either double tap to dash. Spirits rotate around you, shooting homing bolts at enemies. Essence Expulsor Staff- Fires a huge spurt of blue essence at your enemies! Soul Chainer- A huge mace that shoots out multiple Soul Shards on throw. Aeon Ripper - A close range, claw weapon that reduces enemy defense! Eternity- A rapid, double-shot firing bow that releases multiple Core Shards on use. The Tide! A Post-Skeletron invasion that packs a punch! Only being able to spawn near the oceans, you will need an arena and ample preparations to tame the Tide. Clamper- A menacing mollusk that leaps toward the enemy. While moving, the Clamper is invulnerable. There are brief periods of time where it stops and becomes vulnerable. Greenfin Trapper- A fast moving beast that occasionally traps enemies, reducing their movement speed. Tide Caller- A slow beast that regenerates its own health while spawning Clampers to battle. Murky Terror - An underwater fiend that floats toward the player, attempting to rain down purple bolts of energy that inflict the Wobbly! and Confused! debuff on the player. Mind Flayer- A frail, but powerful jelly mage that stops in place and shoots damaging bolts at foes! Hardmode Tide Enemies R'Lyheian- A hardmode tide Miniboss that rushes at the player, summoning tentacles that shoot bolts of confusing energy at the player! Depth Trencher- A hardmode, stationary enemy that shoots out poisonous, weakening globules at nearby players. Kakamorans: A group of tiny, yet powerful Tidal enemies that spawn Post-Mech! Kakamoran Rider- A Kakamora that mounts a Greenfin and rushes at the player. Cnidarian Kakamora- A slow, yet electrifying Kakamora. Kakamora Windglider- A Kakamora that shoots out poisonous seeds at the player while occasionally gliding towards them. Kakamoran Raider- A very fast footed Kakamora! Lavavent Elemental- A Post-Mech miniboss that teleports at the player, while also circling around them and shooting different types of fireballs. The Blue Moon- A tough hardmode invasion that may randomly spawn any night in hardmode! Glow Toad- A giant toad that lunges at the player. Flutterfly- A giant bug that shoots out multiple glow stings at players. The Omniscient- A multitude of eyes that shoot out multiple lasers at the player. Moon Spirit- A wisp of energy that shoots out smaller wisps at foes. Lunar Slime- Summons lunar wisps every time it jumps! Magic Toadstool- Occasionally pauses and shoots out multiple damaging mushrooms. Wererabbit- A fast, powerful monster! Mad Hatter- A rare foe that tosses its hat at the player! Jabberwocky- A miniboss that acts like a powerful wyvern, shooting out multiple stars from its mouth! The Marble Mimic- A hardmode mimic found in the Marble Biome! Drops: Golden Apple- Adds two defense. As your life goes down, your life regeneration increases. Circe's Scimitar- Shoots out a small projectile that can paralyze enemies for a few seconds. Zeus' Staff- Harness the Power of Zeus to shoot a bolt of lightning which pierces through your enemies! Tattered Shotbow- Shoots two marble arrows at once. Arrows shot have much more armor penetration. The Granite Mimic- A hardmode mimic found in the Granite Biome! Drops: Granite Slicer- When swung, an afterimage of the sword appears on the other side of you, dealing less damage. Granite Reflector- Creates a wall of Granite Energy that does damage and reflects enemy projectiles. (Unimplemented) Lazure Longbow- Shoots out Granite Arrows that stick to enemies similarly to Javelins, dealing damage over time. Granite Shield- Adds 3 Defense. When below 50 health, you get 7 seconds of invincibility! Hopefully you can pop that potion in time! Bloodmoon Minibosses! One for Pre Hardmode and one for Hardmode! Flesh Golem- A prehardmode miniboss. A slow moving, heavily damaging combination of fleshy parts that walks toward the player and inflicts Blood Corruption, a damaging debuff! Bloodgazer- Traveling through tiles, the Bloodgazer is a powerful Hardmode Miniboss that shoots clumps of blood at the player and siphons your health to his own occasionally. Defeating him drops an important crafting material... Spirit Mimic! The Spirit Mimic is found with the Spirit Biome, and attacks like a regular large mimic, except it summons cursed Shadow Mimics from time to time! Spiritflame Staff- Shoots out an ethereal bolt that splits into four flames! Gravehunter - Fires three arrows in rapid succession Soul Blade - A fast sword that occasionally shoots out a pulse of Spirit energy near the player, damaging all nearby enemies! Stone of Spirits Past - Attacks occasionally spawn orbs to attack your foes! The Snow Monger! The Snow Monger is a dreadful boss found in the Frost Legion! Watch out for its icy projectiles, snowballs, and ice beams! He spawns Snowman Gangstas occasionally. Drops: Blizzard Edge- Occasionally shoots out multiple frost blasts! Shiver Wind - Shoots out an icy bolt that turns into a frost rune upon hitting an enemy or tile. Chillrend- A very quick gun that occasionally shoots out frost blasts! Winter's Bauble- When under half health, you are surrounded by a bubble that nullifies projectiles and grants you 30% damage reduction. Town NPCs The Rogue- An NPC based around the throwing class! He spawns when you have either an Iron or Lead Shuriken in your inventory. Items: Iron Shuriken- Always sold. A good variant to the regular Shuriken. Lead Shuriken- Always sold. A good variant to the regular Shuriken. Bouncy Eyeball- Sold after defeating the Eye of Cthulhu. Bounces a few times. Gold/Platinum Shurikens- Sold after defeating the EoW/BoC. Inflicts Broken Armor rarely. Putrid Splitter- Sold after defeating the EoW/BoC. Splits into two, homing mini eaters on colliding with a wall or enemy. Creeping Shuriken- Sold after defeating the EoW/BoC. Revolves continuously, piercing infinitely. Bone Cutter- Sold after defeating Skeletron. Fluctuates in velocity while in midair. Mechanical Scrap- Sold after defeating any Mech Boss. Hits enemies twice, burning them. Thornbloom Knife- Sold after defeating Plantera. Leaves behind several poisonous spore clouds in midair. Thrower's Glove- Always sold. Increases throwing damage and velocity. Swift Rune- Always sold. Increases throwing velocity and movement speed. Rogue Armor- Always sold. More info in the items section. The Enchanter- A wizard who sells you Glyphs, which can be used to enchant weapons! He will spawn once you have a Blank Glyph in your inventory. Blank Glyphs- A form of currency used with the Enchanter! Blank Glyphs are rarely found in Reach and Spirit Chests, and have an extrememly rare chance to drop from any foe. However, Blank Glyphs will always drop in large quantities from bosses the first time you kill them. A quick tutorial on how to use Glyphs: - Have a Glyph in your inventory - Have the desired weapon you want to enchant selected in your hotbar - Right click the Glyph while you've selected your desired item - Boom! The Glyph should consume, and you'll have an enchanted weapon (To get rid of a Glyph's effects, simply reforge the item) Sales: Frost Glyph- While weilding the weapon, the player gains: Frostfreeze. Increases critical strike chance by 6%. The player is surrounded by an icy aura that may slow down foes. Sanguine Glyph- While weilding the weapon, the player gains: Sanguine Strike. Attacks may inflict Blood Corruption. Attacks on enemies with Blood Corruption may steal life. Unholy Glyph- While weilding the weapon, the player gains: Rotting Wounds. Increases critical strike chance by 5%. Landing crits on foes may release a pulse of poisonous clouds. Sold after defeating the EoW/BoC. Wasp Glyph- While weilding the weapon, the player gains: Wasp Call. Reduces movement speed by 7%. Attacks may release multiple homing bees. Sold after defeating the Queen Bee. Scorch Glyph- While weilding the weapon, the player gains: Flare Frenzy. While weilding the weapon, you are engulfed in flames. Increases projectile speed. Your weapon can deal extra damage and inflict On Fire! Sold after defeating Skeletron. Daze Glyph- While weilding the weapon, the player gains: Dazed Dance. Attacks may confuse foes. Confused foes take extra damage. Getting hurt may confuse the player. Sold in hardmode. Phase Glyph- While weilding the weapon, the player gains: Phase Flux. Increases movement speed by 20% and grants immunity to knockback, but reduces defense by 5. Sold after defeating Infernon. Camoflauge Glyph- While weilding the weapon, the player gains: Concealment. Being still puts you in stelath, which increases damage by 15% and life regen by 3. Sold after defeating a mechanical boss. Void Glyph- While weilding the weapon, the player gains: Collapsing Void. Reduces damage taken by 5%, and attacks on foes may add up to two additional slots of Collapsing Void, reducing damage by up to 15%. When more than one stack of Collapsing Void is present, attacks may generate void stars on foes. Enchanted Broom- Summons a broomstick to ride on. While on the broomsticks, magic and summon damage is increased. The Adventurer- A jack-of-all-trades NPC who sells different things at different times! Check his inventory often. He spawns after defeating the Eye of Cthulhu, as long as you have 1 Gold Coin in your inventory. Items: Depth Meter- Always sold. Compass- Always sold. Warmth Potion- Always sold. Traverse the tough expert Snow Biome easily. Hook- Always sold. Rope- Always sold. Purple Emperor Butterfly- Always sold. An expensive, yet failsafe source of bait. Poison Arrow- Sold only at nighttime. Poisons hit foes. Slime Arrow- Sold only at daytime. Less powerful than a wooden arrow, but slimes up enemies. Demon Arrow- Sold at nighttime after defeating Skeletron. Rapidly gains velocity while in midair. Gator Pistol- Always sold. A very inaccurate, yet fast pistol. Chakram- Always sold. A powerful, and illuminating chakram. Bullet Cannon- Sold at nighttime after defeating the Eater of Worlds. Sanguine Ward- Sold during a Blood Moon. The player is surrounded by a small, damaging aura of blood. Skyblade- Sold after defeating Skeletron. Swinging the blade can grant you the 'Featherfall' buff. Viashino Wand- Sold during hardmode. Shoots a fiery blast, while also raining another one down from the sky. The Poacher- Sold during hardmode. A scorpio-themed gun that converts all bullets into venomous rounds. Polymorph Gun- Sold after defeating one Mech boss. Turns any enemy into a harmless bunny! Lunatic- Upon killing the Ancient Cultist, he begs your forgiveness and offers you powerful weapons in exchange for shelter. The Lunatic spawns immediately after the Cultist dies, and sell expensive, but unique items. Ancient Guidance- Has a chance to shoot out one of four Cultist attacks(Fireball, Ice Mist, Lightning Storm, Ancient Light) Elderweave Scarf- Reduces mana cost by 20% when under half health. Increases maximum mana by 120 when above half health. Increases magic critical strike chance by 9%. Magic attacks may also release bolts of Wild Magic at foes. Heart of the Moon- Increases damage by 11%. Attacks may grant the player 'Will of the Celestials,' reducing damage taken and increasing life regen. Getting hurt spawns six Moon Globules around the player. Cosmic Hourglass- Uses 80 mana and 1/20 of the player's life on use. Summons a Temporal Field that freezes any enemy at the cursor position. Tesseract- Uses 200 mana and 1/10 of the player's life on use. Kills any non-boss enemy on the screen. Token of Fate- Consumable. For the next minute, you are protected by 'Fate's Blessing,' which causes any fatal blow to return you to 500 health. Only prevents one 'death' Celestial Sigil- Sold after the Moon Lord has been defeated. Magic Bullet- Expensive bullets with a high base damage, homing, tile clipping, and exploding capabilities! Sacrificial Dagger- A powerful melee weapon that restores mana on hitting enemies The Lone Trapper- A lost soul... From the days of old, he was the last hope of the Purity. Trapping powerful, wayward souls with his mastery of the Essence... On his journey to the underworld, however, he was tormented and tricked by the Demons... They destroyed his soul and morphed his physical being into one of horror. He roamed the underworld, with a broken body, but with good intentions, keeping the Ancient Spirits of the Dark and Light at Bay. A few demons were tasked with keeping his soul stifled, and concealed his essence in the body of a doll. Soon after the death of the Wall Of Flesh, the Lone Trapper's essence is released into the world once more. However, only after defeating a mechanical boss will the Trapper truly return, to aid you in what he could not finish... Banishing the Souls once and for all. All mobs killed with the Lone Trapper's weapons drop Elemental Essences based on the Biomes you are in... Items! All Trapper Weapons have a chance to inflict the Essence Trap Debuff, which allows essences to be collected before all Mech Bosses have been defeated. Spirit Staff- Now sold by the Lone Trapper, the Spirit Staff is a Summon weapon that summons Dungeon Spirits to fight for you! Essence Slasher- A quick, small broadsword! Ethereal Staff- A Magic Staff that shoots out a concentrated bolt of Spirit energy! Ethereal Bow- A bow that shoots out only Ethereal Arrows. Ethereal Spear- A thrown spear. The Martian Scientist- One of the non-aggressive Martians, this NPC moves into an available house after defeating the Martian Madness event. After being forced to design weapons and armor for the Martian Army, he has no qualms with supplying you with new and improved gadgets to aid you! Sells: Martian Transmitter- Costly, but summons the Martian Madness Event! Brainslug Launcher- A weapon that shoots out a brain-scrambling slug to latch onto your enemies and destroy them! It's a good up/side-grade to the Piranha Gun. Electrified Bullet- Shoots out an Electric Bullet that occasionally inflicts the Electrified! debuff. Electrified Arrow- Shoots out a High-Voltage Arrow that inflicts the Electrified! debuff. Electrosphere Grenade- A Powerful Throwing Weapon that explodes into an electric sphere upon colliding with an enemy. Watch out, because it deals a lot of damage to the player too! Biomes The Reach is a mini-biome that spawns on world generation. Two Reaches spawn in any give world. The Reach is composed of campfires, skulls, corridors, traps, and more! New enemies spawn depending on the time of day, and a prize awaits you at the very final tunnel. A new set of earlygame gear awaits! happy exploring. The Spirit of Terraria's essence is manifesting on the soil of the world itself. As the Spirit grows more conscious, the Spirit Biome spreads, but experiences turmoil, much like the Spirit Itself. Monsters spawn forth from the land, disoriented and confused, attacking you, the Chosen One. Stay safe here, for lost and tormented souls rise from the ground, and small, unseen enemies are quite common... The Spirit Biome is a Biome that spawns after one Mechanical boss has been defeated. The theme is all about souls and spirits, not necessarily malevolent ones, however. The Spirit Biome does not spread. Spirit Ore can be found upon defeating certain enemies, or by excavating deep underground! The Spirit Mod is a free, fun addon to Terraria that anyone can enjoy.
