Hello I buy a mini ipad a years ago and my version of terraria is 1.2.12 and sometimes I see people with the version 1.12.4 is this normal?

What is My ipad mini is too old for the version
Currently, the iOS version is at 1.2.12785. The original iPad Mini has 0.5 GB of Ram which is not enough to run the current version of Terraria.

should I buy a new ipad mini
If you want to be able to play the new update when it comes you will have to get a new device because the mini can't handle the game.
