[OOC]
(Welp, I only really have one thing to perform roleplay wise and it requires something more than a regular rpnull.)

[RPNULL RPGM]
Ian would turn towards Silas

``So Silas right? How about you tell me a bit more about yourself, what were you like and what did you do prior to the war?``

Silas: Honestly, I don't think there's much more to tell.
Silas: I already mentioned being part of the Boatmaker's Guild, and really that's what I did my entire life.
Silas: Built boats, sailed on them, things like that...
Silas: ...What about you?

[RPNULL RPGM]
``Me...?``

Ian would think about if he should tell them, and he would decide to do so.

``People don't know me by anything other than my name, Ian Greenfield, I was and still am pretty much a 25-year-old man into steampunk technology or at least a more advanced form of it.``

He would sigh exhaustingly.

``At most people knew me for that or my means of attack, some people dubbed it "The Inferno Fork", there was also my slight knowledge of the fiery magic within me, although I was unaware of the electricity and ice undiscovered.

But soon enough, I found out about Aspera and his upcoming reign, I didn't want to suffer from another world takeover seeking freak, especially if it's a Godmodder, so I set out to stop him only to find out multiple people had the same idea, but I went through with it regardless.``

Ian would look down as he would cross his arms.

``Around the beginning of the battle, I created what would be the prototype of Ignition, however it got struck down and I let my emotions overwhelm me, but I pushed through and summoned a bandana wearing spear wielding warrior from another world, sure he was small in size but he was good, then I eventually had let emotions get to me again, resulting in me marking myself as a rogue and abandoning the battle to explore a manor.

At the manor, I created Ignition, discovered the potential in my abilities and defeated this bat guy, I soon returned to the battlefield with Ignition and rejoined the AGs, learning about my electric and ice abilities, the battle went smoothly in my eyes, the closest to worst thing was either Aspera draining me of my energy while I was the hyperactive Phazon or having to deal with a powerful being as Shaggy.``

Ian would then look up, giving a confident smile.

``And soon enough, here I am alongside Ignition and the allies who haven't went off exploring and I can say that I strongly believe that Aspera's reign of chaos will be stopped by me and the AGs.``

Chapter 3
Red Sky at Morning

Silas turns from conversation and pulls out a spyglass.

Silas: Arm yourselves! We have bogies inbound!

Ahead of you, a large fleet of ships comes into view. No one ship is the same, and each one is armed to the teeth. The largest one begins deviating from its course. Next to it, the smallest ship quickly turns about and approaches the Adventurers' Sails at full speed. The boat turns, flips almost immediately, and pulls up alongside the Adventurers' Sails, filled with snakes.. armed with guns!

Silas: Snakes!
Silas: I think I recognize them, too - they're part of the Partnership Collective, a futuristic hive-mind of attorneys.
Silas: I haven't tangled with them before, but they have experience with destroying ships.
Silas: Those snakes are going to try to board our ship and destroy it from the inside.
Silas: We have to give them a taste of their own medicine!

Silas notices the much larger boat also approaching, if much slower.

Silas: gulp... And we'd better do it before that ship comes to support it!

~~~
You've been thrown into a naval combat. Naval combat works slightly differently from regular combat. While on a ship, you may attack other ships, but not the entities aboard those ships. If you destroy a ship, it sinks, killing it and all entities aboard. Adventurers aboard a sunken ship cannot attack anything until they board another ship. Boarding other ships takes actions, and can be harder or easier depending on which ship you're trying to board. But beware; you can also be thrown off a hostile ship! If this happens, you'll either land in the sea or on the closest friendly ship. Oh, and one other thing: if you're able to clear a hostile ship of all hostile entities, you can take control of it, making it a friendly ship!
Ships themselves can sometimes have Attack or other skills that target entities. Unless otherwise stated, these skills can only target other ships.
~~~

Itinerary:
AG: Destroy Aspera!
AG: Sink Aspera's fleet!

N: Seek out your personal objectives.
PG: Protect Aspera!
PG: Sink the Adventurers' Sails!

All: Figure out the intentions of the Chaos Morpho!

- All of your actions have their power reduced to 0.5x before all other multipliers!
+ Entities with dodging capabilities cannot dodge your actions!
± This augmentation does not affect attacks against Godmodders.
Banana-Fish:
Destiny: Bookkeeper

Spoils of War:
Misery: Polar Star. Owner: Cutlass McClaymore. A strange gun, with two scratches embedded into it. It looks like it gets stronger if used carefully. Once every 3 turns, it can be used to deal 1,000, 2,500, or 5,000 damage, depending on its current level. The level goes up when PG entities die or the Godmodder takes damage, and it goes down when AG entities die. Level: 3, Cooldown: III
The Teletubbies: Tubby Custard Machine. Owner: Pol. A whimsical machine with two large spires for storing Tubby Custard. Once every 4 turns, it can be used to heal 5,000 HP to any entity. This healing can bring entities over their max HP, if they're not already above their max HP. Additionally, the Tubby Custard Key may be used one time to revive any entity that died the preceding turn, with full HP. THE TUBBY CUSTARD KEY MAY ONLY BE USED ONCE THROUGH THE ENTIRE GAME. Cooldown: IIII. Tubby Custard Key: Available
Fortegreen Crewmate: Emergency Meeting Button. Owner: Just Flask. A red button that can be used to assemble everyone in the area. Once every 5 turns, it can be used to summon a Crewmate, who the owner will be able to direct to various tasks. Its effectiveness will vary. Cooldown: IIIII
Kabula: Kabula Cannon. Owner: Reese. A large, somewhat unwieldy cannon that fires three shots at once. Once every 5 turns, it can be used to deal 10,000 damage to three different entities. For the purposes of this Spoil, Crowd entities are counted as a single entity. Cooldown: IIIII
Cyber End*r Dr*gon: Cyber Dr*gon Egg. Owner: Niyr. Somehow, turning the End*r Dr*gon into a technological terror passed the property on to this egg. The egg appears to have no function, but there is a green button on the back. The longer you look at it, the brighter it gets. You get the feeling you can only press this button once... Green Button: Available, Charge: 10
King Dedede (first fight): Abandoned Bandanna. Owner: Ian. The lost bandanna of Bandanna Dee, presumably discarded when Bandanna Dee was used to summon Kabula. The Abandoned Bandanna may be given to an entity, granting it an additional 5,000 Attack until it dies, at which point the Abandoned Bandanna will become available again. Status: Unavailable
Shaggy: The Sandwich Of Oblivion. Owner: [Name Here]. A sandwich of unfathomable power, made of the finest ingredients one can find in the thousand universes. This sandwich may be fed to an NPC a total of three times across the entire game, with an indeterminate and plot-linked cooldown. Eating the sandwich will cause a major plot disturbance or critical interference. This will not always work out in the favor of the owner. Status: Available, uses left: 3

Permanent Upgrades:
Chapter 1: The Great K.A.T.E.
A strange red bucket that contains a weather machine. What does K.A.T.E. stand for? Your guess is as good as mine! The Great K.A.T.E. provides many forms of weather information. The more kinds of weather information an action uses, the more damage it will deal if it succeeds, up to 1.5x the usual amount! However, if the attack doesn't use a piece of weather properly, all weather bonuses will be lost!
Chapter 2: Crossroads of Destiny. A portion of Shaggy's power, specifically dealing in one's "destiny." At an indeterminate time, the Crossroads of Destiny will appear to a player character, giving them a large number of choices for a permanent augmentation that can shake up how they play the game. (Indeterminate time means I'll offer you a crossroads whenever I think I have enough cool ideas for your character.)

[Action/Charge]
``I guess Aspera figured out we show up one way or another, I guess I can try this.``

Ian would create a cannon made of electricity, it seems to be how he's going to attack the ships.

``Bring it on Aspera!``

He would then create a cannonball made of electricity and load it into the cannon, fire wouldn't work well in a navy battle and ice would only be effective at damaging actual people.

``If we get sunk, I'm afraid that this may be a lost cause, but that's not going to happen.`

Ian would then use the cannon to fire at the Occam's Razor, but that's not all, he would quickly zap the cannonball, increasing it's size and in term, the damage it can deal.

[21/34] (got boosted)

[Ignition's Action]
Seeing as it's a battle on the water and how injured he is, Ignition uses his wings to heal himself, he wouldn't actually attack this turn though.

[RPNULL RPGM]
``Hey Aspera, how the hell did you figure out that we would build a boat?!``

Ian would cross his arms again as he leans on his electricity cannon.

Free from its Monopoly shackles, a +1 is sent towards the Testificate.

Given how he can do so for free, Boris simply teleports onto the Book of Revelation.

"Honestly, if Aspera wanted me off the boat he could've just asked. Now then, where were we...?

With a sudden crash, what appears to be a small box materializes onto the Adventurer's Sails, with a manic smile falling onto Boris' face.

All of a sudden, the box opens, unleashing several writhing appendages made of shadows. These various limbs start wildly tearing the ship apart, ripping out chunks of the deck and firing strange black beams that annihilate whatever they could reach.

Then, with an unholy screech, the various body parts are flung back inside the box, which begins to fold inwards extremely fast. As it reaches the point of near non-existence, Boris snaps his fingers, and it triggers a massive detonation as the mass of the box expands at near light speed.

PG Tactics [10/10]
Niyr would decide to fly aboard the Book of Revelation, and quickly grabs some semaphore flags to send a message back to the Occam's Razor. The message would contain basic instructions ordering that the Planning Room quickly be staffed with new naval strategists and that new strategies be created due to the current naval campaign. the message would lack detail however, in case the message is intercepted by the AG team.
+1 to @Krill13

Of course, Niyr would have far more to do, determining that the greatest threat the AG team could pose right now would be them boarding the Book of Revelation, and therefore measures must be taken to make that more difficult. The first of those measures would by the most simple. He would requisition a large number of spikes, and a paralytic poison to coat those spikes with. He would then order a few members of the crew to assist him with placing the spikes along the sides of the vessel, though he would still try to do most of the work himself. Next, he would move on to step two, which is to simply create a massive whirlpool and summon an ancient ship wreck from the depths. This wreck is more or less worthless, as it was already sunk, and is kind of being kept at the surface by pure force of will and a bit of magic. However, Niyr would then take what is left of the sails of that old vessel, dump them in black paint, and then hang them up again sideways. Step three would then by the classic smoke and mirrors. Literally. Niyr would proceed to use a bit more magic to create a heavy fog around the two vessels, with them briefly being both entirely obscured from view. While they are obscured from view, the sails of the wreck would be turned into massive mirrors, reflecting the image of the Book of Revelation, while the hull of the wreck would be filled with explosives. With that done, Niyr would clear some of the fog away, leaving the wreck visible and the Book of Revelation hidden. However, due to the mirror, and the slight bit of remaining fog, the wreck would appear to be the Book of Revelation, but with one key difference. It isn't, and if the AGs get too close to it, or try to board it, the wreck will detonate.

Step four would be something that uses a bit less magic, as Niyr has already used quite a bit of that. Instead, this time he'd take a look at the deck of the Book of Revelation, and make sure it is absolutely soaked in water. This already isn't great, though it should still have enough traction for the crew to move around. However, Niyr would make sure there is an easy way to make the soaked deck far worse for invaders, by setting up cylinders of liquid nitrogen around the deck. If any AG entities or players board, the area around them can quickly be turned to ice using the liquid nitrogen, and that would be far more slippery than just the water.

Step five would be in case all else fails. For this situation, Niyr would place a device next to the helm, and inform the crew to all hold onto something before it is used. Once the device is used, it would produce a brief, but extremely strong force acting upon the ship. This force should be enough to send the ship under the water, however as the pulse is brief, and the ship should still have enough buoyancy, it should come back up to the surface again afterwards. However, the use of this device should be enough to have any boarders get carried away from the ship by the water. Finally, Niyr would install a small self-destruct system to the device to ensure it will destroy itself after a set time of using the pulse, ensuring the AG team cannot simply just try to extend the pulse to hold the ship underwater and sink it.

And finally, step six would just be to increase crew morale, by providing them all with a six course meal before they have to face the AG team, though the meal would take place in a field of accelerated time, so the crew can comfortably spend time enjoying their meal, while also being able to return to duty quite quickly afterwards.

SIDEQUESTS - Pol and Kirby

Pol and Kirby sail off in a different direction from the rest of the Adventurers in search of something else they can do to fight against Aspera in this war.

There are many options visible on the horizon...

The Information Superhighway - No machine could be expected to continue operating after being crushed by a mountain. The Great K.A.T.E. no longer seems to be recording weather information, only insisting that it can only be fixed by "tech support" located here, at the Information Superhighway. The Information Superhighway, however, seems to have been abandoned years ago. Maybe there's still something here that will help you to fix The Great K.A.T.E.? This is a relatively short sidequest.

Oryx's Castle - Off in the distance, Pol and Kirby spot a large castle situated in a sinister island. Whatever or whomever lives inside may be working with Aspera - but if not, they could likely be convinced to support your own efforts. This is a long sidequest, with increasing rewards the farther you're able to progress.

Mushroom Kingdom - Say, off in the distance, isn't that the Mushroom Kingdom? This particular iteration seems to be an island, with the two kingdoms in very close proximity. ...Affixing a spyglass on the island, however, shows Aspera's flags flying from both Peach's Castle and Bowser's Castle. The support of both kingdoms in this war could be catastrophic if something isn't done. This is a moderately long sidequest.

Sidequests - [Name Here] - The Candy Box

The talking candy leads you to a large island some ways into the ocean. A lighthouse blinks on a small islet nearby, guiding you to a safe landing on the islet.

Talking Candy: Ooh, it's the cyclops!
Talking Candy: He and I go waaaaay back.
Talking Candy: If you can wake him up, he may be able to get you to the candy box, wherever that is.

It takes you a moment to realize the talking candy is talking about the lighthouse.

[CHARGE]

The wind whistles in Decil's ears, softly singing a new tune. No more is it the hammering stones of the cave. Instead, he hears the flute of the seas, brushing over the tide.

B Sharp: [4/35]

But the song is never alone. The Adventurer's Sails breaks the ocean, parting the tide in a crashing roar. As a mote, the sound filters through Decil's awareness, flowing out to Ian as raw energy.

+1 to @Razor_Typhoon

[ACTION]

Decil sniffs at the fresh sea air, his eyes glancing at the Book of Revelation. "Hrm..." he mumbles. "Bit pretentious. Who names a boat that?'

Then he sees Niyr... doing stuff. The boat seems busy. They put spikes on it. Raised another boat. Put both boats in fog. Disappeared the other boat? What? Soaked their deck. Made some device. Then shoved their crew down into the hull for a six course meal? That's... running into action economy, right?

Meh. While they're so busy, Decil might as well board.

Holding his sword out in front of him, Decil draws a circle through the air. Sound waves mark across the sky in the wake of his blade's path, forming a stationary ring over the AS's (Adventurer's Sails's) deck. It reverberates for a moment, humming with the essence of wind and steel.

Then, Decil jabs the pommel of his sword into the center of the ring. It punches some membrane, and the ring noise cascades outward. Expanding, the noise forms a tunnel of waves in the air, crossing from the AS to the Book of Revelation. This was pretty much already the plan, but the sound waves follow the path of the light, bouncing across the cartoonishly large mirrors toward the true enemy vessel.

Trusting his instincts, Decil leaps, shooting himself into the flowing tunnel. It carries him forward, reflecting over the false ship and throwing him out above the enemy ship. As his momentum shifts from gliding to falling, Decil looks down, confused how Niyr wanted his ship, which he covered in fog, to be seen through the mirrors.

Shaking his head, Decil points his hands downward. He spreads his arms wide, then he claps. Another column of sound waves blows downward, clearing a path through the fog onto the deck of the boat. On impact, the wave knocks back the water of the "soaked" deck, which generally implies most of the water was absorbed by the deck, but whatever. Decil flies down through the pillar, landing safely on the surface of the boat.

At least, that's the hope...

[RPNULL]
Kirby looks around at the oceans passively.
Pol is busy decking out the ship with various quality of life stuff. Some couches, a tv, a captain’s cabin…

[RPGM FOR EVALUATION OF SUCCESS]
Pol then looks back at the bookcase.
<Hm… how did the destiny go again…>
<Right. Right. This needs to be filled.>

Pol then makes an empty, brown book of medium thickness, and then a black and white pen. Pol then starts writing in the book… filling it out within seconds.
It’s a book on… numbers. It starts with basic combinatoric techniques, and then goes into the human history of numbers, before talking about how to calculate the final digit of infinity, pi, e, and all those other irrational numbers at any given moment.

Pol then tries putting this in the bookcase to see what happens.
(This most probably won't work, but I just want to see how.)

[ACTION BUT WITH DECISION MAKING]:
Pol and Kirby are headed to Oryx's castle, I've decided.

After observing what happens with the bookcase, Pol then turns to Kirby, who had just then been trying to get Pol's attention.
"Poyo!"
"Hm... 3 destinations..."

Kirby then looks at the destinations with Pol.
Pol stares at it, their eye momentarily glowing some sort of teal.

"..Let's go to Oryx castle."
"Poyo..."
Kirby thinks for a bit. They then nod.
"...poyo."
"Then it's settled."

Pol then raises their wing again to call a stronger gust that sends the Oceanic Poyo steaming towards Oryx's castle.

I look at the sleeping Cyclops and I just... well, sure, waking people up with the power of LOUD is probably the orthodox way to do so and is also the funny way here because, well, loud is funny. But what if I throw a wrench to that formula and just spawn in this thing that's an uhhh...

Beholder Meido That Wakes You Up With ASMR

I of course set it to wake the Cyclops up.

...

Don't look at me like that.

Once again stuck in "No Charges for Testificate-Sama" zone, I uhh, reciprocatory +1 to Niyr(@Dragonwolf73).

In spite of Niyr's efforts, you board the Book of Revelation successfully!

Green Button: Available, Charge: 11

Ian would walk to the edge of the Adventurers' Sails, he would look down at the water.

``I hate to leave this boat unguarded, but it's the best option if we want to survive...``

He would back up slowly before taking a leap of faith to try get onto the Book of
Revelation but not before saying one more thing

``If I don't make it and I end up drowning, take care of Ignition!``

[22/34]

[Ignition's Action]

Ignition gets on guard just in case something unwelcomed boards the ship.

[OOC]
(It would be cool if there are 2 paths, depending on what side wins in this naval battle.)

Man the Guns! [1/5]
+1 to Boris/@CrimtaneShovel

Niyr turns to look at Decil, and smiles, before deciding to take off and fly to the Adventurer's Sails. However, halfway there would suddenly disappear, before stepping out from behind Decil.
"I hope you do not getting wet."
And then Niyr opens a portal under the water next to the Adventurer's Sails, using the rushing water to try to shove both himself and Decil off the ship, though Decil would be less of a concern as Niyr opens a second portal, now directly under the Adventurer's Sails, using the momentum from the water to help him tey to break through the bottom of the deck.

Of course, Niyr would not expect that to be enough to pierce the deck on its own, so he would have also enlisted some help of a Reaper Leviathan he "borrowed" from another world, with the leviathan ramming the underside of the ship at the exact moment Niyr would hit it as well.

Now, how is Niyr controlling this Reaper Leviathan, you may ask. This would be acheived by the simple use of VR, needles, and electric shocks. By using the VR to create a virtual world in which members of the AG team are torturing and taunting the leviathan, and timing those actions with the electrical shocks to cause real harm, it would slowly train the leviathan to absolutely despise the AG team. And, by carefully controlling the VR world, it would trick the leviathan into seeing AG team members moving around, with the leviathan moving to follow, while in reality itcis just moving towards the ship. Once the deed is done, the VR system would detach, and the needles, being of the hypodermic kind, would proceed to inject the leviathan with Kharaa to ensure it dies off, if it wasn't infected already. And just to ensure it gets the job done, Niyr would go back in time once the Book of Revelation is destroyed to place a small device on the Reaper Leviathan, which would create a small field of highly accelerated time so the infection will progress much faster compared to the world around the leviathan. He'd then quickly open a portal to an alternate universe to see if he's likely to be infected, and even if he isn't, he'd make sure to hop over to another extra universe to get himself the cure, and then travel back to the time and place he belongs.

The update is now complete. Sorry this took so long - it was a perfect storm of bad timing. Updates should continue on a consistent schedule from here on out (but no promises...)

Boris decides to offer Niyr his Big Gun as a +1 (@Dragonwolf73)

Well seeing as how both Ian and Decil are trying to board The  Book of Revelation, Boris decides its only fair he returns the favor. But somehow their 5-year-old-with-a-lego-set boat is real hard to board, so he's gotta be crafty.

He starts by creating a small platoon of clones, each of whom are instructed to attempt to board the Adventurer's Sails in a different method. One tries making wings and flying over, another stretches it's arm to pull itself over, and another just goes for a leap of faith. Roughly 15 copies are thrown at the boat this way, but none made it. Fortunately for Boris, they were never meant to.

As the clones all charge the boat, Boris turns his hand into a phone Inspector Gadget style and calls.... someone.

"Zallir? You there? Good, because I got a favor to cash in..." In cartoon fashion, he then turns from the camera and starts mumbling into his hand. Whatever he said seemed to work though, as what seems like a shoebox drops from the sky.

Taking this "shoebox", Boris throws it on the Adventurer's Sails like it's a javelin. Upon contact however, the box pops. For you see, that box was actually a custom made flashbang, several thousands of times stronger than a normal one and enchanted so no matter where you look, you're getting blinded. Fortunately, the range is too small to hit the Book of Revelation.

As everyone on the Adventurer's Sails is blinded, Boris seems to just... appear on the boat with them. He then throws into a portal a weird pocketwatch that's counting sideways. He would then implant himself further in the ship by melting his lower half to seep through the cracks in the floorboards of the deck then solidifying, making it that much harder for him to get kicked off.

You sail to Oryx's castle! The banners flying over this castle do not appear to be Aspera's. You dock at one of the entrances, and approach the castle. You are immediately attacked! You may not be able to reason with these minions...
