Ask any npc and the dirt block is worthless while the zenith is one of the most expensive single items. The game itself disagrees with the fairness. At least from the eyes of a society that sees things as having value.

NPCs are wrong, just look at Tunnel King's post earlier in this thread.

debating is a good part of trading, but it could have benefited from a counter-offer, like perhaps Tungsten Broadsword for 2000 dirt blocks, I'd do that
