**REPORTED** two layers below chest cannot be actuated

If a chest is on some blocks (or platforms) the blocks immediately below the chest cannot be actuated into the background. This seems correct.

However, the blocks immediately below those blocks also cannot be actuated. This seems wrong.

Thanks for the report. However, this has been reported twice.

I noticed this in one of my pre-1.4 worlds (and subsequently tested it in my Journey Mode world). Is this intentional behavior now, or a bug? I didn't spot anything about it in the change log.

**REPORTED** - Can't actuate blocks two tiles below chests.

I've used a floating base design for ages that has a floor of blocks that I actuate to lockdown and keep out MOBs, in peaceful times I can just drop through. Above that floor is a layer of platforms which I cover in chests. It would seem this no longer works as the chests prevent the floor...

That's interesting, because I tried a search for "chest actuated" before I posted this, and this is the only thread that comes up.

Likely because the word used was "actuate" for both threads, not "actuated" so the search filtered it out. No problem, happens all the time.

I dunno, if your search can't fuzz for different forms of a verb I'd say that's a bit of a problem... on the forum software's end.
