Found the Goblin Tinkerer in the dungeon.......he's not supposed to be there

I feel like I always find him down there. Think he can spawn anywhere as long as it's underground...

If you had not yet freed him after defeating a Goblin Invasion, he can be found anywhere in the Cavern layer - including the Dungeon

I once found the mechanic, the goblin tinkerer, and the tavernkeep all spaced out throughout the dungeon. They were then nearly killed by a a blazing wheel and a sudden onslaught of dungeon enemies.

The chance is low but there is a possibility that Goblin tinkerer, Wizard, Mechanic all 3 are in the dungeon bounded.

i've also had occasions where i found the goblin in the dungeon, sometimes only a short distance away from the mechanic

The goblin went in to save the mechanic but got captured instead because he was too loud

and he kept stealing the cash of the skeletons

Well, at least he probably reforged all of their stuff to shoddy.
That'll make our job of rescuing all those npcs so much easier.
