Hi! I'm not used to forums or posting threads, so please forgive me if I neglect to add specific information/etc.
I'm currently having an issue joining multiplayer games through Steam, and it started after I tried hosting a server through the game (which my friends also couldn't join to begin with). I just tried to go back to their server, which was also hosted just directly through the game, but I got stuck on Connecting. I can join other servers through their IPs, but that's also where I found that the server I hosted was showing up on the list of joinable servers. That doesn't prevent me from joining other IPs, but I'm guessing that's the issue with joining via Steam as that's the only noticeable thing that changed before and after.
I'm guessing that it's an issue with the port, but my technical knowledge is very surface level. I've looked through guides for similar issues, I've tried verifying my files' integrity and just reinstalling the game, and the obvious attempt at seeing if them closing and reopening the server would help, but nothing has worked yet.
I'm not sure if it's pertinent, but my current MacOS is Sequoia 15.2.
