New project Coming, Sorry!

This just makes the Pyramid a dungeon copy. Everything is pretty much "the same as *something from dungeon*". I have to say the lack of effort in actually giving us something new and interesting appalls me.
It makes the dessert less boring.. I like it!
Anyways can you make the sprite's background grayish?
I'm not questioning the choice to give some life to the desert, but an almost exact copy of the dungeon isn't giving us much variety. And I think you can do better than just Mummies, hmm? I saw mummy, mummy, mummy, and then something with a hallowed armor, and a red robed magician. We can do away with a Recolored Paladin. Also, since you never mentioned their A.I, I'll assume all of these new mobs will just be using the existing ones.Yes i really take de Dungeon as a inspiration, but i tried to give some sense to the Pyramid, because it's only a structure that have a chamber with some treasures!
And not only the Pyramid, the whole desert Biome is weak, there are lack of monsters, lack of items, and the desert only exist in the surface... i already read some projects there about a "Desert underground" and i support!

It's not that I'm saying that you can't use existing mechanics, but if you introduce some new(and interesting ones) to go with them(and probably cut down a bit on the copies), your suggestion would have more color and appeal to it. As it is now, it has all the appeal of the pebbles in my backyard.
Mummies aren't the only things associated with pyramids. There are all sort of critters, to start with, scarab beetles, deadly scorpions and snakes. Then, well, just grab something random and give them a desert/pyramid tone. The Pharaoh Guardian is a good idea, but why use a Paladin A.I, when you can introduce something else, just as deadly?
And for the sprites, I'd suggest you remove them entirely for now. Some people might be a bit caught on the visual impact that they make, when they are obvious recolors.
A suggestion: Instead of a Pyramid that spawns 15% of the time, why not just expand the desert biome itself?
Instead of just sand and nothing but sand... can we not have half-sunken buildings (not pyramids... pyramids are not the only thing ever built in sandy areas!), and the like?
Perhaps each desert biome can spawn a couple buildings, and these buildings can sometimes have chests in them, and you have to find them by seeing bits of sandstone sticking out of the sands and you have to dig to find the entrance to them and explore them? We could put scorpions in there, asps, etc, and more Egyptian-themed weapons, armor and accessories in there.
I think we should do this floor ALL deserts, and of course the large pyramid would continue to be that special something that you occasionally stumble into, in a desert.
