Down the sides of the pancakes onto the plate but that isn’t a bad thing. You can just scoop up the syrup with a bite of pancake.

Also if you are using a thicker superior topping like jam or custard the dripping “problem” doesn’t happen.

Waffles are really good, but pancakes? It is divine, I tell you. Especially if you add some sugar on it and eat it with bacon. In my not-so-popular opinion, liking waffles over pancakes is utter balderdash!

My mom makes special pancakes…
She uses a specific oil on the pan, & the pancakes get a golden crust.
It is delicious. If I figure out which oil, I’ll edit this post. I think it’s vegetable oil or avocado oil
