Console What is your most disliked enemy in the game?

I remember the old days in 1.1 when I'd go into the Dungeon with Shadow Armor and a Light's Bane... I used to hate those stupid dark casters because every stinking time you went to open a chest, ANOTHER one would spawn nearby and of course your inventory was always full because you had a smaller inventory back then IIRC, and it took time to sort through what you wanted to keep and what to ditch meanwhile these stupid casters are constantly picking on you non-stop.

Nowadays, I just go to the Underworld after getting a Demonite/Crimtane Pickaxe and then go to the Dungeon with Molten Armor and a Greatsword and stomp over everything in there.
 
Another enemy I have a surprisingly hard time dealing with for some reason? Derplings. How can something with such a dumb name be so annoying, especially if there's more than one.
 
hornet's and fire bats pre hardmode. that poison and relentless notcoolness, pushing you into pits and lava ugh.
in hardmode ill have to go with tortoises, early on they can 2 shot you hard, and the only way to prevent that is to have a weapon that keeps them in place, if youre melee then gl.
pc only: desert spirits, screw those carpet bombing sonovas...
 
Hmm personally the most annoying enemies are those which either have indestructible ranged projectiles or those that peskily annoy you with their wall hacking __________
Additionally if playing on PC you have to worry about the most dreaded Medusa which along with the dungeon guardian are able to insta-kill the player at all points of progression...

I know I go oh **** each time an Icy Merman, Gastropod, Nebula Floater,Medusa,Wyrvern or its basically equivalent to the pc expert mode wyrvern counterpart Arch wyrvern on console... So you wanted a sky castle? sorry *squish*.

Also Derplings are pretty annoying in part do to the sounds they make but also their tendency to swarm you (mostly the sounds...)

Okay, forget I ever said Ragged Casters or Derplings, F***ING ARCH WYVERNS! They're too fast, too big, too strong, too hard to kill, and they seem to have a really wide area needed for despawning, so they follow you back to your spawning point after they brutally massacre you! **** ARCH WYVERNS! I HATE THEM!

Since the fact that that the Hollow spreads faster than a bad case of the flu in a Amish household, these little laser shooting floating frog balloon demons are everywhere, they are especially annoying once I take off my Obsidian Shield to work on my house, then they decide to swarm and knock me off my floating house...
Is there any more to be said?
 
I very much dislike the Spiked Slime, does my head in pin point precision. Ahhhh. Other than that I'm alright with everything else put im pre-hard mode at the moment. But not for long.
 
Mine would probably be the red devil as the controls on console aren't as precise as a PC mouse, making it MUCH harder to kill.
 
Ocram, not because he's hard (he's easy with the right items...), its because he forces me to use adamantite when crafting his summon :/
 
Oh my gosh, I hate Paladins so. I've been killed by them... what, 9 times? Oh, and once I got killed by a Paladin when I was getting my Magnet Sphere. Wow.

I have a great tip for defeating Dungeon Casters. (But you need a Scourge Of The Corruptor) So you just spam it and because the mini eaters follow enemies, when they teleport the mini eaters will find them really fast!
 
Updates. I'm on Xbox360 and am ready for new content.

For a more relevant comment.....

...the hallowed swords.....they hinder all but movement. Turning an all-powerful player character into a temporarily panic-induced frenzied victim that it'll repeated impale more than a starving pre-Madonna porn-actress that only knows the phrase "no No NO!".....Then the debuff fades and leaves the poor character wondering if the npcs will ever let them live down their moment over lowly cowardice, as you send the masterless cutting tool back to the bent and misshapen cutlery heap in the sky.....
