Why isn't my daybloom growing?

I've had these planted for days and I've played multiple hours in that time. Why haven't they begun to grow yet? I need to make potions to fight the destroyer and I have no idea what is preventing them from fully blooming.

I don't see anything wrong with it...
Could it possibly be too small?

just wait some time it all fine you just gota wait more.

Herbs grow on random tickrate occurrences, the best thing you can do to speed it up is plant more and hope that those ones grow faster.

Yeah expanding the farm is the only way to help this. Fertilizer only works on saplings (and is post skeletons anyway).

btw not long after i posted this the daybloom magically began to grow soo... no idea what caused it
