Console Will we have more powerful dig tool?

I love digging tunnels in new worlds,but I think tools available now is not so efficient,will new update have new powerful dig tool?

This would be interesting. Since now, the most powerful drill in the game is the Laser Drill, from martian madness. But the speediest is the Shroomite Digging Claw. So it would be a good idea to have some final, endgame drill or pickaxe.

Or something with the power of DCU but not a mount. I would like more a drill, so I can quickly switch to another item (or weapon) to defend myself from enemies.

Will...I feel drill containement unit is not so efficient.For a example,I want to digging tunnels like the picture,but it took me over 10hr and it is not finish.

I mainly play switch version so i can't use calamity mod.I hope it will calamity DLC in console version.

Yeah, I feel that DCU is uncontrolable, if you understand what I mean. It can easily dig any tile you didn't want just by moving a little bit your mouse. This is inconvenient.
