World Gen PC - Mobile Version

Hello guys, recently I bought the mobile version of Terraria. And I realized that the world-gen on the mobile version the world its not so flat.
Am I the only who noticed these differences? It's been a while since I played the PC version and now I am playing it again (after the massive update it got my attention again) and I am playing the mobile version too. But I am having more fun on the mobile version than the pc one. The worlds are more interesting I think.
So the question is, there are differences on the world-gen or not?

Either the worldgen itself is different or trying to squeeze so many features into a tiny mobile world makes it do weird stuff. Which one? I don't know.

After 1.2.4 on PC was released new world spawns have been designed to be more flat and tidy. This has been improved again in 1.3
