You're gonna want to explore the world with the default copper pickaxe the game provides you with. Next, mine any ores that look different from dirt or stone, such as tin, lead, iron, or copper (all of which are extremely easy to find). Next, you should cut down trees with the axe the game gives you. With wood, you should craft a work bench, and use the work bench to craft a furnace and anvil. Those are the first steps. when I try make any armour there is no item icon and when I try to make armour out of anything the doesn't apear and I can only make wood sword even if I do use work bench
