A quick concept. Body and shoes were poorly made based on an old head.
Many parts of it could be changed to match the Terraria theme and colors, as this is a MS Paint sketch.
Tooltip could be "Made by Zedd*"
There are barely any ice/frost themed vanity sets, which is why I decided to design this.
The way this could be obtained is through killing certain ice biome mobs for its crafting items or sold by the clothier in a snow biome
 
I made art for a snowy owl set. I was kinda thinking like a very snowy theme, with fur along the arms and legs and a scarf of fur. Some gems and an owl mask, with purple gems. the shoes can be slaw like and the 'pants' can be kind of like a furry cloth with bandages wrapped along the legs. Bandages are also wrapped around the shoulders and arms, and a large gem strapped to the chest. Hope y'all enjoy, this was fun to make c: (the file is huge so i just sent it as a viewable file)

This is my vanity costume. It's called the Basilisk scalemail set. The torso's tooltip could be, "Once owned by the ranger Dalton, this armor was crafted from the scales of the legendary serpent the Basilisk. Who knows how it wound up here..." I don't know what the tooltip for the rest would be. (Despite it's name and description, this is still a vanity set and does not give any bonuses.)

There are so many cultures present as armor and vanity but there isn't one of the longest and biggest civilizations in history: the Roman Republic/Empire. So my submission is the Imperator Set based off of Julius Caesar and more general Roman armor and imagery.

Helmet: Laurel wreath
Chest: Dark chest-plate adorned with a Roman eagle & a red soldier sash
Pants: Armor Girdle/Skirt & Roman Sandals

(I feel like the girdle could be part of the chest or pants; I'm not too sure about how the slots are supposed to line up.)

Scrapyard Bot

The scrapyard bot vanity set can be bought from the Mechanic after defeating the mechanical bosses. A neat little addition is that the eye changes color to match the wearer's eye color.

I think the Portable Lavatory would make a great vanity item

so yea its a wearable porta potty, hilarious if I say so myself. It would take up all vanity slots so your just a porta potty. Character's shoes, arms, and head would be pokin out of it.
It would be found near abandoned buildings or mine cart rails underground.

Hollow Knight Leggings; "A hollow vessel's legs." Note: This costume is supposed to look like the main character of Hollow Knight. You would find this underground, it would have 1/10 drop chance from bug-like enemies (except hornets) and in expert mode, 2/10 drop chance. (made with google canvas)

WHAT IS ALLOWED/NOT ALLOWED?
  • Only one submission per person! If you make multiple submissions, we will select the first submission made, and the latter ones will be disqualified.
  • All Vanity entries must be the original work of the person submitting the idea - no stealing! (yes, we will look -_-)
  • Sprites from Terraria mods *ARE* allowed but only if you are the original creator of that artwork (this means the actual artist, not just anyone that happened to work on a given mod)
  • Direct lifts/overt references to other games/movies/tv shows/etc. are quite likely to be rejected (if we have to ask permission to use it, don't submit it ;) )
  • Please keep it PG-13 - nothing profane/offensive/etc. please

HOW DO I SUBMIT MY ENTRY?
  • Entries should consist of a design that includes Head/Torso/Leg (aligned to those vanity armor slots in the game). We will not be including wings/dyes/weapons/etc. Sorry.
  • All entries must include artwork of some kind. This could mean anything from super-fancy hand drawn art to MS Paint-level scribbles. However, the art - and any accompanying descriptions - need to be able to clearly communicate the idea. If we have to struggle to understand the concept, it will hurt your chances of winning... and trying to guess art from just text is going to give all of us headaches.
  • If you have a name for your creation, please provide it.
  • Entries should be submitted by posting in this thread. ONLY entries will be permitted in this thread. If you want to discuss the contest or specific entries, feel free to do so in the announcement thread here, Discord, etc.
  • All entries must be submitted by 11:59pm Eastern Time on April 13th, 2020 - NO EXCEPTIONS! :)

Please note that as stated above, ONLY submissions will be allowed in this thread. Non-submissions will be moved/removed by the moderator staff. You can ask questions or discuss the contest in the original thread!

The 6-Pack Bee is the greatest bee in all of... somethingkind. It has a 6-Pack and its wings are(somewhat) transparent.

Comes with the Banana Mask, Banana Torso, and Banana Stem

Each piece will have a 1/20 chance of dropping from Clowns during a Blood Moon

The more damage you take, the more brown spots will appear on the outfit. ¼ HP or less will have the biggest spots, ½ HP or less will have a few spots and Full HP or less will have no spots. This is to mimic the bruises that bananas get in real life.
