    nope, i am currently working on some old family computers that were out of commission, upgrading them and sending them back home. after that i'll do my sleeper build. a work friend of mine told me his dad has a ton of beige computers (varying degrees of working) in the basement, and he was going to pay someone to clean them out. he told his dad i was interested and he's gonna bring them back with him after visiting his dad for thanksgiving instead of the alternative. (as they say, "one man's trash is another man's treasure" lmao) that's likely when i'll start on it because that's when i'll be able to choose the case :guidegrin:

    i've gotten so sick of how much time i waste on my smartphone that i'm switching to a flip phone. (i tried solutions for making my smartphone a dumb phone first but they really didn't work out for me bc i just went around whatever i set up lmao) i'll still have my music streaming on my pc for finding new songs/listening to people's recommendations, but i needed an alternative for portable music, so i'm getting cassettes. the flip phone has mp3 player capabilities as well so whatever i don't get on cassette i'll load onto there :)

    yup, i watched them with my family as a kid! they were very entertaining at the time and still hold up now.
    i think it's mostly because they weren't trying to appease the algorithm or follow a trend. they were just being human. but that is a tangent lmao

    so me and my fam evacuated the house cuz it was in the red zone for hurricane Ian storm surge. Had to leave my pc there up high on a shelf so I’m rlly hoping it’s not absolutely wrecked when we get back lol, bc my house is very likely going going to be flooded. fun times :)
