I've found myself unable to keep making tf2 maps, I can't make anything I want to enjoy myself, it has to be made at the whims of others.

Calm down, necroposting is allowed on this forum. In fact it is not even mentioned in rules because concept of necroposting is irrelevant in player-created content context. If so-called necroposting offends you, please consider making suggestion to disallow it in corresponding thread instead of insulting people
