    @HellHeater the guide one is really real, I’ve always imagined him having the voice of Deckard from Bee and Puppycat, I don’t know anything about that show but I remember seeing a clip and it immediately just clicked like “yeah, that’s the guides voice alright” it’s also just kind of a cool contrast to his WOF voices and form

    if I have to hear the term "quirky indie RPG about depression" i'm gonna loose my mind
    am I the only one who doesn't get it? it just seems like a way to dismiss a game based off the most watered down explanation without providing actual criticism. I'm probably just looking too deep into it tho

    It's better to just ignore detractors, usually. It comes from a place of someone not liking something, and instead of just not engaging with it, they seek external validation and people with the same opinion, by complaining about it. Watering things down into a simple summary that makes it sound unpalatable is a common trick used for this. Terraria is 2D Minecraft, etc.
    It's almost always "I don't have the literary comprehension to understand this thing, or haven't played it for more than a few minutes, and now I will act like I'm a professional critic"

    Seeing groups of people populated by children online entirely dedicated around enabling themselves into unhealthy mindsets really makes me glad I didn’t surround myself with insane people while being online at a young age & grew out of the bad stuff. It’s kind of depressing how often I see this happen
