  • What's an advice you would give to someone who wants to be good at drawing?

One other thing why I start with the head/face: I've been taught that when others see my drawing, they'll likely focus on the face first. So the face is often the first thing I want to get right.

If you want to draw something with a focus on the environment, while also featuring a character, you could let them show the back of the head instead. As if they're watching what you see.

I’d very much like to draw but I have unfortunately inherited my mother’s OCD, and I treat my sketchbooks like the holy grail, objects that are unfit to be ruined by these dirty, untrained hands. But when it comes to drawing on random pieces of paper, I tend to not want to let it go, as I get attached to the drawing.
    It is not fun.

Oh, cool, so I'm not the only one who worries about crossed-out scetches in an sketchbook.
I've a large A4 notebook that made it easy to rip off the pages from the book. It has lines so it's more for writing than drawing, but I think it helped me out to get rid of the bad sketches, while keeping the good ones there too. I think it helps building up your self-esteem.
So, I got my own webpage now:
    School's starting tomorrow...yey?
My main world has been cleaned from hallow and crimson for a loong time...and now it's time to control the biomes itself

That's something that's so useful and common in games with bosses, I'm not sure why it isn't a thing in Terraria.

Only spoilers I can give is "expect things getting DAMN SERIOUS in season 3." Korra's story is basically "Season 1, mildly dangeours stuff happens. Season 2, go play in the snow a lot. Season 3, WHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPENED? Season 4, let's fix all the :red: that happened in Season 3, or die trying."

Waiting for Season 5, though. I don't care if the guys making the show said it's over. It needs a fifth season.

Unfortunately I spoiled it myself a bit... So no surprise, sorry. I'm still up to watch a whole show.

If I knew the finale's surprise before it happened, I would have watched the show harder.

No, you become a wizard by being an old man with gray beard.

It's kinda silly seeing a mage wield a laser gun that uses mana

But then again, we got a octopus-like floating thing as the final boss, so who am I to question logic of Terraria?
    Techhunter_Talon
    Techhunter_Talon
Well... there is an explanation one can come to. The mage is using his or her mana to generate power within the gun where normally you might need to load in new power cells or what ever. Essentially, the mage is recharging/powering the gun itself with magic.

(Yes, I know anyone can use these things and have mana but this seemed sensible enough)

Damn... there goes that idea. Have yet to either. How the heck did people do it before 1.3? I'll laugh if I try it and it somehow works.

The secret way people get to the last wave is the use of traps and lava. What you can do is build a platform and get the nebula armor to work along with the most powerful pots and magic items.
Well, dad saw my Moon Lord drawing...he said it was nicely drawn, but he disliked the picture itself.

After four martian invasions still no Scutlix mount >_> I'm going back to the art corner.
    Bezixx
    Bezixx
My tactic to spawn some kind of enemies during invasions:
Don't kill other mobs, if you don't see the Scutlix, fly off so enemies despawn and the wanted monster might appear.

You don't mind farming one invasion for hours, right? It's not really long.

I was already ignoring the saucer, but ignoring all other enemies is hard...
    Bezixx
    Bezixx
This is why you fly. Making arena and placing yourself above it, when you have solid blocks for saucer attacks , room should be big enough to cause enemies to be offscreen or just decrease your resolution and fly down a bit. They are easy to avoid in air when they can't touch you.

Bethesda and the Fallout series taught me the greatness of saving every minute.

Fallout 3: Oh, you've survived a Death Claw stampede, a Brotherhood squad and some bandits these last five minutes, but didn't save through all of that? Why, it would be sad if the game decided to CTD right now, wouldn't it?
    Me: Pls no.
Fallout 3: *CTDs like the jerk it is.*
Well,, she got the Vampire knives now, (thanks @Milt69466 )
