    I bet the "slime falling from the sky" thing was something like; Red was beta testing, and a slime spawned somewhere high up and fell on him, and he started cracking jokes about it to other testers.

    I bought Terraria back in October of 2013 and it says that on Steam I have played it for 197 hours. My longest session was 6h 31m 12s.

    I think I should get a couple awards for this.

    When asked in his second Reddit AMA he answered "There is an episode of the Simpsons where Bart says his name is Rudiger. When I heard it I thought he said Red-ih-get. I have been using the handle ever since then." For the company name I presume he combined Re(digit) and (Demi)logic.
