CS:GO uses similiar tactic. And yes, those DLC cost way too much. It's good to have that Witcher 3 though, when you get lots of them for free. There are only 2 with story that need to be bought, but they are cheap as hell, not unlike EA's costs that make you pay twice as much of the game costs, to get DLC and a shiny knife with some priviliges, like faster game queues...

Well, in any case, I think the games industry is just going downhill fast. Maybe they're running out of ideas for good games and all we'll see is MMS games, and other re-hashes of the re-hashes of the re-hashes, until some indie gets a brilliant idea. There are some nice indie games out there, but some of them have been in development for almost 2 years now, blah.

Witcher is not all about sex... In fact you can play first two games without triggering sex even once ( with exception for first minutes in Witcher 2 ). Said someone who finished this game a few times.

Yes, but you can easily tell a huge part of the game's focus -is- the sex. I've a few friends who play Witcher, and they're going "sex this" and "sex that". In fact, the very first thing I heard about Witcher 3 as it came out? "YOU CAN HAVE SEX ON A FAKE UNICORN LOL" ....... sigh. It kinda kills the mood.

Forget about those idiots. I only play Witcher for its story and gameplay. Which in the first part was very good, in second it was a bit worse, but still not too bad.

Meh, maybe someday. Still, if it's a game about story, I'd wanna start with #1, but I can't... because it crashes every 10 minutes. lol.

There is Enchanced Edition and various fixes. And yeah, it's better to start with first one.

I do have the Enhanced Edition. I was able to play up until the first town after the prologue... and now it just keeps crashing on me, gave up after a few crashes.

Well, there's always a way to repair crashes...

If I knew what was causing them, sure. These are CTDs with no error messages, nothing.

Well, very few games do that and it is usually the older games. Never had a problem with Skyrim myself to be honest, nor FO3 or NV but yet everybody says how bad Bethesda's engines are.

the internet is relatively new. the kids on it these days are all desperate- and people want profit.

Honestly I've played NV and Skyrim Through a lot of hours. The first starts crashing when you play one character a lot whilst the latter when you mod it. But the thing is that Skyrim gives no error, ever...
