i decided I didn't like where the animation I was making was going (and I had no idea what to do next)
so I'm starting over. (i was only like 7 or 8 hours of work into the old animation anyways.)
at least it was good practice
also on saturday I actually got nothing done =')

update: i didn't progress much from the last update time wise, only one second. I filled in a lot of background though, as when I started today only the characters who actually did stuff were there and they were in a blank white void. Now, there's a bunch of useless people standing around them and they're in a slightly less blank white void.
hopefully tomorrow I'll get to the actually interesting part.

Update: taking a short break, will probably do more later today. I spent most of this time doing backgrounds and only got about 2 seconds done. almost to the 20 second mark. Hopefully since tomorrow is Saturday I will get a lot done.

update: I'm about 14 seconds into my animation.
I might add some sound to them talking, even if I don't completely record voices
maybe I’ll record part of what they say, but not all

ok so I said i was gonna do voices yesterday but i don't have a good place (or time) to do it
(and I feel weird about doing it in front of other people or when they can hear me so I would end up doing it super quietly so my voice sounds all whispery.)
also animating mouths is annoying, and the only mic i have is the bad computer one.
so for now at least I'm just gonna stick to on screen text

update: got 10 seconds done today, I will keep going tomorrow.
tomorrow I have to start recording voicelines
I'll probably get around 5-10 more seconds done tomorrow, but end of term for school is coming up so I have stuff to do and might not be able to work on it much for a few days before march 1st

spent like an hour and have about 4 seconds of my first real animation done
this is gonna take a while
so i won't be posting art for a while sorry

it took me like 6 hours, but I have successfully made run cycles for myself and all of my pokemon
I will do pirates and other idiots probably over the next few days
