Here's my contribution.
Pus and Gore - Have Crimson and Corruption in the same world.
Enroaching Putrescence - Have Crimson and Corruption biomes at the Surface and Underground.
Code Blue - Have Crimson and Corruption biomes that stretch from the Sky to Hell.
World Armory - Equip a piece of Crimson Armor and Shadow Armor at the same time.
Irrigation Irritation - Remove an ocean biome from a world.
Pew Pew Pew - Defeat the Eye of Cthulu as your first boss kill in a world only using a Blowpipe, as well as having no hard-mode items owned or present in the world.
Off to the Big Honeycomb in the Sky - Defeat the Queen Bee for the first time in a world in the Jungle Surface biome, as well as having no hard-mode items owned or present in the world.
You Shall Not Pass - Defeat the Wall of Flesh for the first time in a world without moving, as well as having no hard-mode items owned or present in the world.
But for the Grace of Guides I go - Defeat the Eater of Worlds with a Trident or Spear, and while having no armor, accessories, or buffs.
Concussion Junction - Defeat the Brain of Cthulu for the first time in a world while only using a Shadewood Hammer and Shadewood Armor, as well as having no hard-mode items owned or present in the world.
Burn Notice - Defeat the King Slime for the first time in a world by lighting it on fire and keeping it burning the entire fight, as well as having no hard-mode items owned or present in the world.
Stay on Target - Defeat Skeletron's head before killing either hand, as well as having no hard-mode items owned or present in the world.

Are these achievements being added as in-game achievements, where each character you create can earn his/her achievements independently of your other characters (like Minecraft's achievements only with characters instead of worlds), or will they simply be Steam achievements.

Treasure Hunter - Loot 25 different naturally occurring chests with one character.
Miner - See every type of ore in the game at least once (Ores like Demonite and Crimtane you only need one or the other).
Slayer - Have every single boss trophy in the game.
H4XX0R - Kill the Dungeon Guardian without jumping.
First Blood - Kill your first enemy.
Warrior - Kill 100 enemies with a single character.

What Were You Thinking? - Beat eleven waves of the Frost Moon without once equipping a Hand Warmer or using a Warmth Potion.
Can't Touch This - Dodge three (or two if that's too difficult) attacks in a row with the Black Belt or Master Ninja Gear.
Where Did YOU Learn to Fly? - Get hit in the air ten times in a row without once touching the ground.
WHO'S IDEA WAS THIS?! - Survive against the Dungeon Guardian for a whole day and night cycle without dying.
We Apologize for the Inconvenience - Kill three Ice Queens or Pumpkings without getting a drop (Doesn't have to be in the same Frost/Pumpkin Moon, and doesn't have to be in a row).
You're Hired! - Get a summoning item.
You're Fired! - Throw a summoning item into lava (You monster).

Have 80% and at least 4 of all NPCs housed in rooms with no furniture other than wood tables and chairs, and lights.
