PC 1.3 Achievement Suggestions!

Good day Terrarians!

To continue our ongoing efforts to add community suggestions to the game we would like to start taking suggestions for achievements for the new achievement system that will be in the 1.3 PC update! A few of the areas you can think about while submitting your suggestions are; completing events, fishing, crafting, collecting, surviving, etc.

Make a achievement from making Night's Edge, Excalibur, and Terra Blade
 
Military Vanity
  1. Soldier vanity set
  2. Officer set
  3. General set
Buy from arms dealer if he has room near the clothier within 10 block.
 
Geting achievement from following data
  1. Recruit:Craft&Consume shroomite bullet 1st time
  2. Terrorist:Consume shroomite/chrolophyte bullet 25 times.
  3. Revolutionist:Consume total 10,000 bullet
  4. Dictactor:Consume all type of bullet 100/ea
  5. Commander:Kill 100 bosses using bullet damage.
  6. Officer:Kill boss using rocket damage:
  7. Major:Consume total 100,000 bullet/player
  8. General:Consume 1,000,000 bullet
 
"We're going to need a bigger boat." Beat Duke Fishron underwater.

"Skydiving" Fall from the top of the world all the way to the bottom- Yes, to hell.

"Gonna fly now.." Obtain your first pair of wings (Any flight accessory)

"Village Defender" Defeat your first Goblin Invasion.

"Landlubber" Defeat your first pirate invasion.

"B-Movie" Survive a blood moon without any NPCs dying.

"Conjunctivitis" Defeat the Eye of Cthulu.

"Helminthophobia" Defeat the Eater of Worlds.

"Cerebral Discharge" Defeat the Brain of Cthulu.

"Myaaaah!" Defeat Skeletron.

"You shall not pass!" Get mauled by the Dungeon Guardian, you imbecile

"Rolled a 1" Die to any slime in the game.

"Chekhov's Sword" Craft a Night's Edge.

"Ascended Fanon" Buy a Hammush.

"Dug too deep" Reach the Underworld.

"Nequissimus" Obtain a Guide Voodoo doll.

"No escape" Summon the Wall of Flesh.

"Like a bat outta hell" Attempt to escape the Underworld while the Wall of Flesh is present. (Magic Mirror works)

"Mirror, Mirror.." Use a magic mirror.

"Snow Day" Find an ice/snow biome.

"Ice day for penguins" Cross an entire snow biome without killing or touching any penguins.

"Anarchist" Use corruption seeds or unholy water.

"Griefing Waiver" Purchase dynamite.

"Legendary" Defeat the Wall of Flesh.

"Sudden Difficulty Spike" Unlock Hardmode.

"Chekhov's Altar" Attempt to smash a demon altar/crimson altar with the wrong tool

"Smash" Break a demon altar.

"Master of Grammar" Obtain the best possible prefix on a weapon/tool.

"Reformed" Free the Goblin Tinkerer from his binds.

"Kinky" Free the Mechanic from her binds.

"I put on my robe and wizard hat.." Free the Wizard from his binds.

"Arachnophobia" Discover a spider cave.

"Spooky.." Play Terraria during the halloween event.

"Festivus.." Play Terraria during the Christmas event.

"..Scary Skeletons" Begin a pumpkin moon.

"..for the rest of us!" Begin a frost moon.

"Monster Hunter" Survive a Solar Eclipse.

"It's dangerous to go alone.." Obtain a broken hero sword.

"King Arthur" Obtain Excalibur.

"World Guardian" Craft the Terra Blade.

"Fhtagn-oh, wait.." Witness a summoning.

"Department of Redundancy Department" Begin the Lunar Moon.

"Grand Finale" Defeat the final boss. (Presumably the lunar moon.)

"Lethal Joke Weapon" Obtain Meowmere.

"Infinity +1 Sword" Obtain a dungeon biome chest weapon. (vampire knives, rainbow gun etc)




Those are my achievement ideas. I realise i'm late to the party, but i feel these are good.

Slime Hunter : Kill every kinds of slimes
Survivor : not dying for a month(in game)
Fishing Expert : Get every kinds of fish
Nightmare : Survive the first blood moon
Kill Two Birds with One Stone: Kill two enemy at once
Potion Addiction: Use ten different potion at once
BOOM!: Get killed by the TNT trap for the first time
Imp hater: Get killed by fire imp 100 times
Millionaire: Get a million copper coins(That is, get one platinum coin)
'Truffle Shuffle': Get Truffle live in
Green treasures: Mine 3618 chlorophyte ores(to craft all available Chlorophyte objects)
Again And Again: Die again just after another death
Far from Asia: Get every item from traveling merchant
Floating In the Sky: Find first floating island
Art manic: Get every drawings/paintings
 
The BIG one : Beat The Duke of Fishron

dig dug: mine up to 10000 blocks
- this one is for the 1.3 update so bear with me
- Underneath The Moon And Stars: Beat the Lunar boss
Uga shacka : Witness a summoning
Townsfolk :Find all npcs
Dragon slayer: kill the mini boss, wyvern
Spaaaaaaaace: reach space
lickity split: obtain lighting boots
Deep Sea Treasure: find gold chests in the sea
and finally
Environmentalist: clean the whole map of corruption and the hallow and anything else

I would like to say that there should be a mix of hard achievements and easy achievements. So making the whole world non corrupted would be a hard challenge. But the easy challenges should have some undertone of hardness to them. For example, find 20 golden chests. Yes, it seems easy, but it takes some exploration to get it. Makes players see new aspects of the game. So really, these achievements should also guide the player along the game so they learn of some of the cool things that can be done. But certainly random challenges that give machinists the chance to create new grinders would be amazing. A challenge for that would be, "Defeat the Golem in under Two minutes." A challenge like this forces the player to learn how to fight and utilize their surroundings.
 
Once again I don't want to suggest anything that seems just like a hassle to do, or something that has too much complexity that isn't needed. Pretty much things that will come with progress, and other things on the side.

Rescue Mission: Obtain every NPC that requires you to find and untie them.
Saving Allowance: Get 50 Copper Coins
Getting Wealth: Get 50 Silver Coins
Getting Rich: Get 50 Gold Coins
Rich!: Obtain a Platinum Coin
A New Day: Survive your first night
Oh Dear...: Unleash your world's two biomes upon entering Hardmode.
Wasn't Me!: Use a Whoopie Cushion next to an NPC or another Player
Stylish Wardrobe: Fill all your Vanity slots
Your First Steps: Defeat the EoC
Can't Ignore Gravity: Die from falling damage
 
Title: Go Full Fish
Requirement: Use a Wear a full Fish Costume while having a Neptune's Shell equipped.
 
Expunger: Kill 1000 zombies and skeletons
Pyro: Craft a flamethrower
Alchemist: Craft 50 potions
Tanker: Take 2000 damage in one life (healing is obviously allowed)
 
Big Guy: Max out your health
No kill like overkill: Deal damage 10x the monster's health
Crashing this plane...: Kill a hundred of Harpies
...with no survivors: Kill a Wyvern
Dirty Harry: acquire Unreal Revolver
Are you not entertained?: Kill 10 bosses in one night
This is my rifle...: acquire Unreal Musket
...this is my gun: acquire Unreal Clockwork Assault Rifle
Are you serious?: acquire Unreal Minishark
Well, as a matter of fact, I am: acquire Unreal Megashark
 
'YOU DOING IT WRONG!' - kill Dungeon Guardian
'Chuck Norris' - kill Dungeon Guardian with hardcore character
'He's cheater!' - killed by Dungeon Guardian
'n00B' - Killed by Dungeon Guardian 10 times
'Hardcore different from hardmode' - kill WoF with hardmode character
'Dungeon Keeper' - reach hardmode without entering Dungeon
'Roguelike' - open 10 locked chests
'Master of <biome>' - open <biome> chest
'Double rainbow?Nope!' - spawn destroyer and wyvern at once
'Fezzes are cool!' - wear doctor's costume and a fez
'Al pacino' - win frost legion with gatlingator
'rekt, finally...' - kill boss that killed you 5 times
'Jungle grows restless...What Jungle?' lose your jungle and kill 3 mech bosses
'Mushmania' - convert 1000 blocks of mud to mushroom biome
'Now its your time to be palladin' - get palladin hammer and shield + beetle armor
'Rail of War' - kill 10 mobs with minecart
'Terraformer' - mine 10000 dirt blocks
'Mob Farmer' - kill 2 mobs each second one minute
'Make your own ctulhu!' - kill eye of ctulhu, brain of ctulhu and duke fishron
'Biome collector' - have world Corrupted, Hallowed and Crimson in Pre-Hardmode
'Terrarian terrarium' - craft terrarium
'A wild mob appears!' - craft terrarium with an animal with it

Disagree on almost all of them: Just do it without a prefix. Also goot idea's!
 
I've play around 650 hours on this game and i always thought about adding achievements im so glad !
I also thought about adding stats (Hours played with the character, number of bosses defeated, number of zombies killed, how many times you used a fishing rod (or any other item), total damage dealt...)
It would be so great to add this !:joy:
 
...and the Brain: kill Pinky
Failure Fisher: reel in 10 junk items IN A ROW
Embarrassment: die from a Green Slime
Cherry Tapped: die from meager damage (1 HP damage from thorns, for example)
AFK: Do absolutely nothing for 10 minutes
[Playername] Wins by Doing Absolutely Nothing!: Kill a boss through traps (In effect, no input)
No Fair Cheating!: Try to break a Demon Altar by using a Pwn Hammer whilst the World is not in HardMode
YOU SHALL NOT PASS!!: Try to enter the dungeon before defeating Skeletron (worth NEGATIVE POINTS!)
HAX!!: Kill the Dungeon Guardian

Will add more as I come up with clever names and tasks.
 
Would achievements be Account Based, Character Based, World Based or something else?

For example, If I make a new character will that character have it's own set of achievements, or do all characters share them?
