I think one of the coolest additions are the abandoned mine cart tracks along with the mine cart slot. This is going to be awesome.

Just imagine running into a track, plopping out your mine cart and following it to an abandoned mining site where they left a bunch of ore due to some circumstance. Maybe they ran into enemies or maybe they couldn't carry anymore. Either way I think it's cool.

and turn into a rock while running over a Medusa XD

That's impossible. I am expecting my entire world to be peppered by a beautiful variety of Tombstones within 48 hours of starting the playthrough. Should be a blast.

Doubtful, although having multiple would probably expand the area of effect since you can place them about the area.
