This is just a bunch of minor suggestions I have. Hopefully they're easy enough to do that they're worth considering. (Except the first one. That's just to get Red's attention. I'm so sorry if it gets added.)
Explosive Boulder! Falls and rolls like normal, but it explodes when it collides with someone/something or a wall. Bonus points if it destroys blocks! I’m getting a feeling this idea is better not shared for the sake of not encouraging Red, but I’m hoping that starting with an idea I know he’d like will make him consider the more serious suggestions more.
Getting a Pet Backpack with Chester, like the Minecart Upgrade Kit that comes with the Mechanical Minecart, would let you use any pet as a Piggy Bank instead of having to use Chester. I know about the Money Trough, but being able to quick stack money to Chester instead of having to use the Money Trough first is way too useful during events like the Solar Eclipse to pass up. I want to have other pets like the Volt Bunny or Spiffo instead of having to use Chester.
The Fox Mask showing your eye color instead of having black eyes would be really nice. I’m guessing this isn’t a thing because the Fox Mask is a mask, as in part of a costume.
Plantable Lilly Pads, Cattails, Seaweeds, and Bamboo would be invaluable for beautiful gardens and landscaping. I’d use seaweed for shipwrecks every time and I’m sure I’d use the Lillypads and Cattails a lot too.
Being able to copy/paste hexadecimal color code for exact colors during character customization is awesome. (For example of what I'm talking about: #BFA189) It’d be awesome if you could use the hexadecimal color code while changing you look with dressers or the Stylist too. Not being able to get the exact right color is really annoying for a perfectionist.
The Shimmered Zoologist could sell Wolf Ears and a Wolf Tail instead of a Fox Ears and Fox Tail. (Or the Zoologist just sells her shimmered version’s ears and tail after some point. Maybe after unlocking the Shimmer Slime in the Bestiary?) I’m asking for the sake of a tail variety because it’s curled instead of just straight and who doesn't like more options?
This is more of just throwing a random thought at the wall to see if it sticks than a serious idea, but Snow Clouds counting as Snow biome blocks would make sense. It wouldn’t mess with making many builds the wrong biome because they don’t have much use outside of snowy builds and it would help with snowy builds becoming artificial Snow biomes.
It’d be really nice for players that don't use the Wiki if something in game hinted about the Torch God’s existence other than just the Achievement, especially because it's needed for a 100% Bestiary. Maybe the Wizard because of his Luck quotes and Torch Luck?
Echo Dye, for when you want a certain look that doesn’t have pesky legs or an annoying head!
I feel safe saying this idea isn’t happening because of Specter Goggles making it much more complicated.
