NPCs & Enemies Ability to eat NPCs

Timey-Whimy

Eye of Cthulhu
There should be an "eat" option in the dialog boxes, selecting it permanetly decreases an npcs happyness and does 50 damage to them, giving the "welll f"ed buff for ten minuet
If its the truffle you get "plenty satisfyed"
This is the onllyy feature that is needed in terrariaa

oh, annd attempting to eat the old man summons a dungeon gardiaa.n

It would be very usefull for boss preparatations and fishing quests!!!1!
i feel like re-logic would say no so they don't spark conflicts over cannibalism.

EDIT: the truffle should be eatable.

I disagree with this. He would taste like mutilated flesh and Rotten Chunks.
If I remember well, human flesh taste similar to pig meat

No ask how do I know...

the idea is that he either has a connection to the wall of flesh or is the wall of flesh might have inspired this.

Is the Wall of Flesh a wall made of flesh? Or the wall's owner is a guy called Flesh?

Mysterious Mysteries

About the post, perse, I sup, but I don't think that is a good idea make all NPC eat an specific meal, that would be a lot of effort for Devs (a lot of time). A generic animation for drinking and eating is okay

I can't tell if you're joking or not.

This makes me uncomfortable, man.

Cannibalism moment.

Once in USA, a police department manage to capture a canibal serial killer

During the interrogation the killer affirm that human flesh taste similar to pig

For obvious reasons, no one tried to check if he was saying the truth

Believe or not, that's not the only person who said that.

Many people who have a past for cannibalism do also say that it tastes like pig.
Now, you shouldn't go and try to fact-check this, obviously. But according to information that was gathered from those kinds of people, yes human flesh does probably taste like pig.

Also I just realized how this could actually work, maybe the option only appears when the player is under the effect of the Moon Charm, it would be lore accurate.

Something like you can only while being a werewolf (or a merman) your wind is like in an "animal state" or something
