Amazon Fire - Transfering Players and Worlds from one tablet to another

Hello,

I've tried to search but haven't been able to find much that would answer the problem. My son has a 2nd gen Kindle Fire that is old and we've gotten him a new 5th generation Fire to replace it.

I've searched and tried to locate the local save files but the only folder I can find is com.and.games505.Terraria is in the image cache and just has the icon jpg.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as while he does need the new tablet he will be very upset to lose all his players and worlds.

I am afraid that unless you have a cracked version of the tablet operating system there is no way to access the files via a file explorer, and therefore no way to transfer files across devices.

Next time, I advise your son to utilise the 'cloud save' slots. These allow you to access the files across devices, meaning if he has to migrate again he will not need to restart.
