Ask A Planet!

1. If you could send 3 probes to anywhere in the solar system, Where would you send them?
2. Fav dungeon brick color?

I have two questions about Imposter's first question because he didn't say which solar system. :P

1. If you could send 3 probes to anywhere in the solar system, Where would you send them?
This could be taken three ways.

If you could send 3 probes to anywhere in Earth's solar system, where would you send them?
If you could send 3 probes to anywhere in @a really far away planet's solar system, where would you send them?
If you could send 3 probes to anywhere in a solar system, where would you send them?

My first question is which of the above did you take Imposter's question was taken as.
The second question is what are the answers to the other two of the above questions?

No peeking until that question is answered but I was talking about Earth's, other 2 options are great questions too though!

If I could send three probes to anywhere in our solar system, I would send one to Uranus, one to Eris, and one to Titan. Uranus because it literally has only been visited by one object (Voyager 2), Eris because it's about as big and massive as Pluto and is the second dwarf planet, and Titan because I just think that's a cool moon that needs further looking into.

My favorite dungeon brick color is probably tied between green and blue.

Are you an Exoplanet or an Endoplanet?

If you could have any planet destroyed in any way, which planet would you destroy and how would it be destroyed?

You're not limited to Earth's Solar system for targets to annihilate and I'll count Pluto as a planet just for the sake of ending the Pluto is a planet arguments.

I think I'd probably destroy Mercury using a slow procedure of mining the entire planet. I'd then use the materials from it to build a massive Dyson swarm.

If you could turn into any 3 fictional species, what 3 would you turn into, and why?

what are your opinions on some of the various potentially habitable planets?

e.g.
  • Kepler-186f (the OG)
  • Kepler-62e and 62f (also OG)
  • Proxima Centauri b (the overhyped)
  • Kepler-22b (the "may or may not be water world")
  • KOI 4878.01 (the "why are you so close to Earth in size and mass lmao")
  • Gliese 581g (the formerly overhyped)
  • others

this is not in any particular order
  • a dragon. they're very cool in my opinion, having the ability to fly would be neat. and if I'm correct in some RPGs they can talk and are as smart as people, so that would be great. i'd probably want to specifically be a dragon and not a drake or wyvern since they have all four limbs (compared to wyverns having two and wyrms having none) and retain their wings (drakes have four limbs but don't have wings)
  • a centaur. (with top half being human and bottom half being horse) they're obviously sapient because they're half-person, and it would be awesome and super convenient to travel super fast with a horse body.
  • a vulcan (from star trek). they're humanoid and sapient, they're known for being logical, they have double the normal lifespan of humans, and they're also stronger and faster. a solid third option of a fictional species to turn into, in my opinion

  • Kepler-186f: it mainly got popular because it was the first earth sized planet in the habitable zone detected by Kepler. its equilibrium temperature is probably way too low to actually support life.
  • Kepler-62e and f: these two planets look extremely promising. they orbit a k-type star, which last for tens of billions years. they also have decent orbital periods of over a hundred days that are at a comfortable distance as to not have their star like easily strip away their atmosphere with solar wind. they'd also be decently comfortable for living on, since they are at 1.6 and 1.4 earth radii, and likely have a similar density as earth.
  • Proxima Centauri b: definitely overhyped as this is the closest terrestrial exoplanet to earth in general, as well as the closest planet in the habitable zone. it very likely doesn't have an atmosphere due to how dang close it orbits Proxima, but i believe that hopefully its underground environment which is way more protected from radiation could have subterranean life kind of like life in caverns here on earth, where they depend primarily on sound instead of sight.
  • Kepler-22b: its equilibrium temperature is not bad, and it has a very decent orbital period of nearly 300 days - it orbiting a yellow dwarf like sol is cool. it's probably a huge ocean world as oceans aren't that astrobiologically rare (just look at Titan and Europe and Enceladus - and Earth) and probably has life on it (maybe even intelligent space octopuses, who knows). but, sapient life evolving in a marine environment with water would make the industrial revolution impossible from ever happening, so that would kinda suck.
  • KOI 4878.01: i completely believe that there is life on this planet (if it actually exists because it's unconfirmed right now, and i hope it does). similar sun to ours? check. nice, lengthy orbital period? check. similar earth mass? check. similar earth radius? also check. nice equilibrium temperature? also check. i absolutely think there's life on this. the bad thing about it, however, is that it's over a thousand light years away. hopefully humans are able to invent an FTL drive, because this planet seems very cool and worth checking out.
  • Gliese 581 system: in general, it really sucks that we don't have like six planets orbiting this star. i mean, it's only 20 light years away, and in the 40 light-year diameter bubble surrounding earth, i'm pretty sure only sol and tau ceti actually have a decent amount of planets.
  • K2-18b: a massive hycean planet with an atmosphere containing water vapor. it might have life, but if it does, it's strictly basic microbial life and not complex. it's cool because it's evidence that water is just a common feature in planetary mass celestial bodies in other systems, which if so means that life has the chance to be super common.

When you were a kid, did you say you were from Mars?

When you were a kid, did you say you were from Mars?
Nope.

Actually, I didn't even really get into liking space into around late 2022, when I first learned about NASA's Artemis 1 mission

What is your opinion on Calamity mod? Also, if you have played the mod, Wrath of the Gods?

If you could make a planet in the shape of whatever you want, what would it be? (Also decide wether its named after you or not)

Unfortunately I have not played the mod, but from what I've seen so far it's definitely a mod I would play if I ever got the chance.

I'd make it into a donut shape, because it's technically stable according to the laws of gravity as long as it spins very fast. I probably wouldn't name it after myself, though.

Yeah the calamity mod is fun, I would recommend it. If you had to fight any of These which would you choose (not based on how strong the boss is, but for how it attacks, how it looks, and what it drops)

While I am not the person who this question is pointed at, I would say either Yharon or Exo Mechs. One gives me really cool wings, sick weaponry, and a whole bunch of chicken nuggets. On the other hand, the Exo Mechs give me a free gaming chair that can fly, along with some unique weaponry.
