What is Bismuth Mod?

Bismuth Mod is a TML global modification based on old 1.0.2 version (you can find info about this one here tModLoader - Bismuth Mod 1.0.2 [Released WIP]). We spent about two years for development of this global update and now our team is ready to present it to you.

Content

  • 400+ new items
  • 49 new NPCs
  • 4 new bosses
  • 120+ new tiles
  • Experience and class system. We added 146 passive and active skills for 5 classes. But if you don't like this system, you can always just ignore class choosing and play without it.

  • 8 new structures (yes, this is world generation):

  • Two playable races - naga and vampire. They cannot be chosen when creating a character - certain items are required to transform. Changing your race will seriously affect the gameplay.

UPD. Turns out the mod has not been updated to the latest version of tmod so the actual release is delayed. For those who want to try it out, you'll have to downgrade to 0.11.4 and either download it from the browser or manually from this thread. Sorry and thank you for your patience. :sigh:

Really? Last I checked mods built for 0.11.4 still run. Unless you updated since this message to fix some incompatibility I'm unaware of, I was able to download it just fine.

Everything here looks brilliant and well-made. The only thing I'd change is having an alternative to all these new surface structures populating the landscape -- just a matter of taste.

I'd love a config-option to either have none of the surface structures appear in worldgen with the new NPCs just moving in as usual NPCs (they can have unique requirements to spawn with certain building materials, etc), and/or simply have the surface structures appear somewhere underground instead. Really looking forward to seeing where this goes!

Can someone please explain as I am not really understanding it:
I made a new world with this mod. I have Tmodloader 11.6.1 - 64 bit, I have some small mods like magic storage and auto trash, recipe browser, ...
If I start the new world in single player, all fine!
If I start the world in multiplayer it goes wrong, The mods gets unloaded by Tmodloader (or is it hamsterhelper?), Pink blocks appear, characters gone and so on.
Am I doing something wrong and if so, please explain as I would really love to play this mod with my partner.

There is n multiplayer support for now. We'll add it later, after 1.4 release
