Vani jumps back right before getting hit, then pokes all 4 brains with her spear.

It gets knocked back little and resumes it's approach

 

[Esther]

Vani then goes for another Vilethorn combo.

It teleports before it is hit, it in now behind Olive, and closing in fast

 

[Esther]

Esther attempts to Nope the brain with a discount Booyah Bomb, while Vani warns Olive.

The bomb hits an illusion! The brain decides to move faster!

 

[Esther]

Olive quickly turns around and uses his bow as a melee weapon by slashing at the brain once it gets in range.

 

[TerrariaOn3DS]

He manages to hit it, actually, it's more like the brain ran into it as he swung it, somehow impaling itself. It teleports away, the illusions are dispelled, and the weird eye it has tries to look at the bow stuck in it's side.

 

[Esther]

Olive uses the rope he always has with him to yoink his bow back.

And that killed the brain, it exploded into chunks, one chunk stuck on Olive's bow.

 

[Esther]

Olive just cleans the bow.

 

[TerrariaOn3DS]

And three treasure bags lay in the midst of the chunks on the ground.

 

[Esther]

They each pick up a treasure bag.

The bags are a bit bloody, but otherwise they are just fine.

"I wonder when they will come back."

 

[Esther]

"I dunno."
