Mobile BladeTongue not appearing

So currently I'm fishing in the crimson using a sitting duck fishing pole with a sonar potion and fishing potion, I've waited for 10 mins or more but no Blade tongue appeared

The blade tongue only has a 0.5% chance of being fished up, so keep trying. Also, try completing 30 quests for the Angler to get a golden fishing rod. Use the highest power bait you can find. Good luck!

I agree with @FeralUnicorn, just keep trying. It can be a hard one to get. And tell your wyverns and harpies to leave you in peace while you’re fishing.

Ok ok thanks btw, is it recommended to use a sonar potion and just wait for the bobber line to show the target catch? (For this time Bladetongue)

Sure, if you’ve got sonar potions, I say use them. That way you won’t be losing as much bait on other stuff. Sonar potion won’t make it come faster, but you can use it to not pull up on all the other stuff.

I think I can do this sometime after I finish the game as a challenge but still thanks for the advice!

I don't know how the high water tile count goes before it maxes out fishing boost, but i do know that it only counts the top line between blocks and straight down until it hits a solid tile. your pool goes under and out. The widest point should be the top of the water. Could give you some level of a fishing boost.
