Could DOOM (1993) run on Terraria

I just want to know if DOOM (1993) could run in Terraria and if so could it just run with wires and logic gates

The computer used here while is very impressive can be further optimized, as you can also see at the end of the video he does get a sort of doom clone running, I do not remember if there has been an update released if they ever finished the project however.

if the doom engine can be used inside of terraria then doom could probably also be made in terraria
