PC Does Steam Cloud Save My Worlds?

The title is pretty dumb but I just wanna know when I save my world or character to cloud could I access it on a different pc if I have terraria and steam installed? Or do I have to use Dropbox or something?
 
Yes. Saving it to the cloud essentially saves the character on steam instead of on your computer. You can play between computers as long as you’ve got a connection to steam cloud servers.
 
However it often happened before, and probably happens now too, that saving to the cloud corrupts the save files and sometimes they can't be restored, and lost forever. So, I would rather avoid using the cloud. (though what do I know, maybe it works better now, than it worked before)

Ok I’ll keep that in mind.But I doubt it would corrupt my world or characters
