Favorite NPC?

I like to ask this question, it's interesting seeing everyone's reasoning. Who's your favorite NPC? Or the NPC you feel represents you the most? I had trouble with this one at first, but I really connect with The Guide (especially if his name is Steve). Probably since I love answering people's questions about the game, teaching people, clearing stuff up they were confused about. Basically what the guide does when you first start off (or what he tries to do anyway).

This is a tough choice.

It's either the Mechanic (I'm actually fond of red-heads) or The Demolitionist because I love to see things go boom.

No, I'm being serious here. Why would I name myself Swordbomb if I didn't like stabbing things and watching them explode?

Travelling Merchant, love the excitement i get when he comes, onley to be dissapointed about only seeing him selling dinasty wood.

The guide is my favorite NPC due to how little he does other than die for you to fight a boss.

I understand this, but I like to think he does more than summon the wall or open the door for zombies. At least he knows everything about every recipe

most likely the arms dealer. he sells great items i can put into use later and most of his items are cheap (in cost)

Shurikens are always useful! What if the eye spawns randomly and you have nothing to combat him with! You can't swing your torches at him, shurikens every day

Shurikens are great for skeletron and eater/brian... shuriken is love
