    What is Microsoft doing these days man.

    Game Pass Ultimate going from 19.99 to 29.99 a month is a 120$ annual difference. I don't care for Ubislop titles, this is not going to work how they think it will.

    60 -> 70$ isnt egregious by any means, theyve been 60 for a while so inflation was going to catch up. What isn't okay is charging full price on top of MTX, and the game sometimes being nigh unplayable.

    A lot of people are unsubscribing from Game Pass en masse, much akin to Disney+ recently, so who knows, maybe it does make a difference.

    I'm subscribed to switch online, but it's mainly so I get the security of the cloud save data backup. Haven't touched any of the classic games the service offers and don't have a strong interest in playing them. Mostly because I already have way too much to play between my PC and Switch 2 libraries. I like owning the games for good after buying them once.

    And yeah, paying 1 time for a game that's $60-70 is different from paying an extra $10 a month. As long as the game I feel is truly worth it, I don't mind paying $70. I think Metroid Prime 4 will be worth it, so I preordered the Switch 2 edition. Pokemon Legends ZA I feel won't be worth $70 (much less $100 with the extra dlc) so I'm skipping it.

    8 year wait and it was exactly what I wanted it to be. Am definitely not brave enough to try Steel Soul though, this game is HARD

    Just got back from a trip to Disneyworld and 1 day at Epic Universal in Florida.

    It was freaking awesome , highly recommend doing it at least once in your life if you enjoy theme parks.

    Alright, don't tell a soul I said this, but I think you're me favorite mod. I mean, Kelp and Aurora are fine, but it feels like you take your own time to really interact with the community. So thank you for that, and for everything else you do.

    I'm playing through Half Life 2's 20th anniversary commentary mode and it's absolutely fascinating to listen to from a game design perspective on just how much goes into projects like that.

    It's probably one of the greatest story FPS's that have and will ever come out. For a game that came out in 2004 it holds up extremely well.
