PC Fog of War Reset, Need Help to Restore my Old Map Progress

Hey guys, I need some help...

Currently I just transfer my progress of my game from my phone to my pc, things are okay but the problem is the map's fog of war resets. It's frustrating as I have some checkpoints that I established in the map and exploring it again will takes some time again. I checked and I copied all of the data in the file that I needed, nothing missing. Looking at my phone to see my old map progress isn't convenient either. Can someone help me on this?

PS: I open my game and shockingly my current map progress had gone, fog of war resets again from the start. I waited to finish the saving state yet it still resets.

Hey @LegacyZero,

Did you also copy over your player file(s)? The minimap data for a world is saved with the player, not the world. In your Players directory every player should have a corresponding folder with minimap data.

I played again and I just currently noticed that even I completely saved the game, the map's fow still reset after I open the map without closing the game and reopening

I've done a little investigating and asking around, and it appears that mobile map files are not directly compatible with PC Terraria - this is also the reason your map keeps being reset. The good news is that I've managed to manually convert your map file to the PC format: simply drop the file into your Players/Zero folder (you can overwrite the existing file) and your map data should be restored.

How did you do this? I am having the same issue.
