PC Hell background

i keep trying to change the background in hell, but it wont register the change.
i am not changing the shape, only the color of the pixel

any ideas/tips?

well are you sure that background are placed in right folder? Is your texture pack instaled properly? Like if other changes to other items doesn't show, you have not properly instaled texture pack.

I tried changing background with success, it seems like tModloader texture pack can change every texture without any problems. I even tried it to be sure.

Then like I said try instal tModloader, with this I got every texture working.
Sadly you can't change every texture with vanila Terraria lancher.

Yeah, don't think you can change textures that are in folders. Hopefully they add that with the Journey's End update.
