TCF Suggestion Longer thread save times.

Have you ever been in the process of making a big suggestion, but forgotten about it for a day and delt with the pain of realizing that the entire thing has been erased? I think that there should be an option to keep thread drafts for longer than just 24 hours. Maybe we could increase it to like a week with an optional setting?

This could save people a lot of pain.

I think this could be done, but I really don't see a point. If you are that worried and are taking that long to make a thread you could always put it on a Notepad or Word file without worrying.

For what it's worth, I don't recommend relying on TCF to store drafts for any elongated period of time, whether one week or four hours, over your own hard disk. Not that XenForo is unreliable or anything, but hard disks are actually designed to store data for a long period of time.

Drafts are saved for 24 hours, whether it's a new thread or a new post on an existing thread. Increasing that time has the potential to require a significant increase in server capacity, so I can say with some confidence that this is not going to happen.

I would suggest the same as Chamander27 said - use a text editor to compose lengthy posts that may take some time.
