That sucksJust lost everything for literally no reason.
Didn't update, didn't do anything. Game saved, came back to this:

I know this may sound like a stupid question, but where can I get those tiny storage units? I can't craft them and I doubt I can buy them from an NPC. They appear in my Item Checklist mod, but not in my Recipe Browser mod.Just lost everything for literally no reason.

they are the top left portion of the normal storage units. the bug he had apparently replaced all bottom left, top right, and bottom right portions with top left portions, making him lose everything. the tiny storage unit you are talking about, i tested it and based on it being impossible to place, i assume its unobtainableI know this may sound like a stupid question, but where can I get those tiny storage units? On the topic of not having enough space in the crafting interface, there are workarounds for that. A few other mods have custom crafting stations that combine the use of other stations. In particular, Thorium, Fargo's, and I believe Calamity have a station that combines the use of almost all Vanilla stations into one, leaving you space to install the modded stations instead. Of course, most of these stations are almost post-moon lord since they also include the Ancient Manipulator, so it will take you a while to get them. So I would suggest that instead of upgrading the interface itself, instead just add more craftable workstations that combine other stations. For example, one that combines the Loom, Living Loom, Solidifier, Sky Mill and a few of the other furniture exclusive stations. The important point would be to allow the recipes to be set up in a way that they can be accessed at various stages in the game and not wait until you have them all at close to or post-moon lord. Also would heavily appreciate a way to upgrade the Crafting Interface so you can add more crafting stations at once, similar to the Storage Unit upgrade system.
that ik of, there are 23 different individual items that add recipes to the inventory. combination recipes are added by the workbench and chair, the table and chair, the crystal ball and each liquid, and the sky mill and a snow biome (snow biome item thing). A suggestion for using the crafting interfaces is have the workbench, table and chair together, the crystal ball and liquids together, and the sky mill and snow biome item together, then all others whereever they would make senseOn the topic of not having enough space in the crafting interface, there are workarounds for that. Another option would be to add a placeable item station rack that you can install an infinite amount of stations into, and it would then simply function like all of those stations at once. Think the Banner Rack from the Banner Bonanza mod, where it wont allow duplicate stations and also lists all the stations inside when you right click it. It would also be able to tell if an item would count as a crafting station and reject items that don't add any recipes (something the normal crafting interface does not do). Since the rack itself would drop all its stations when mined out (or optionally not be mineable while there are stations installed), you wouldn't be able to install it into the crafting interface. To remedy this, have a second non-placeable version that is linked to the placed version and used solely to be functional with the crafting interface. That way with two separate items you are allowed to craft things that are inside and outside your item network simultaneously, like if you just came back from an outing and want to craft something directly from your most recent spoils, but don't want to have to take the extra step of dumping all your goods into the item network then switching interfaces to the crafting interface. Alternatively, you could just alter the placed crafting interface object to function as this new station rack to eliminate the need for two separate items since all the stations would in that case be installed directly into the interface. With this version, in order to manipulate the stations installed into the interface you would need the Storage Unit Wand to perform some special interaction with it. Also with the altered crafting interface version you should make it an upgraded version of the current one, to not allow players access to it at the beginning of the game.
In either case, I would suggest the new items be crafted from a special drop that can be obtained from either the Wall of Flesh or any of the Mechanical bosses (either or, not both), to stipulate that this new crafting interface is restricted to players in hardmode, similar to how the portable remote storage access is made from the terra jewel dropped from the moon lord. Pre-hardmode you really don't have all that many stations to work with anyway.

Using the Storage Crafting Interface in Multiplayer does not do anything for me. I am able to access all the recipes and install different crafting stations, but actual crafting doesn't do anything. Pressing the craft button in the window does not do anything. It creates the sound but none of my resources are used and nothing is crafted.
Nice find! Probably wouldn't have found this by myself, but yeah this is good information. Unfortunately you're probably right about that "wait for the developer to update" part; not good enough to edit the code or whatnot to make the change myself. Good to know that there's a fix for it though.I saw this is also an open bug on GitHub and someone already found a quick fix for it to get it working on multiplayer, but we'll just need the dev to release an update.
